This is going to be a short story from the 3rd person view that I'm pretty much gonna make up along the way. If you're not interested in reading a shit load of plot, then stop here. i might add a bit more flare to this someday but I'm not one to do rewrites until someone has critiqued it, since I'm terrible at critiquing my writing. So this is going to be a crime/drama/Action story. I'm hoping it comes off as realistic, but if it doesn't then that's fine aswell.
Theo Pecking is a 12 year old male, he lives on a farm outside of Salina Kansas with his older brother and father. His mother abandoned the family half a year after Theo's birth with no reasons. Because of this Theo has realized that he must take care of his family, he was too young to feel the effects if not having a mom. As for his older brother and father, they took the mother's abandonment as a reason to stop pursueing a proper family life on a wheat farm. Theo's brother is Kael Pecking. Kael is a 15 year old strong headed youngman. He dropped out of school due to fights and bullying and decided to follow in his dads footsteps as an operator for a farmer. Kael is tough skinned and ill mannered. Unlike his brother, he's a total idiot. He believes that his life is set in stone in this profession, but with the help of a fake I.D Kael has managed to enjoy in a bit of the adult fun, though not to the level of his father. Barret Pecking married knocked his future wife up when he was 16. He loved her and she loved him. They lived happily on Barret's acreage with his parents until he managed to get the farming gig with a commercial farmer. Barret soon became a 7am-7pm man and his wife possibly started cheating on him. He started to grow suspicious when he would go into town and find her at the bars when he would pick up beer for his weekends off. He grew suspicious, but he would never confront these suspicions with her because he believed she was loyal. He drank during his weekends without his wife, then eventually he met up with biker gangs that travelled through Salina and would stop at the hotel bar he frequently drank in. He became good friends with the bikers after a couple years, but he also became a good friend of Heroine. The town is rather small(40,000 people) so the heroine addicts could be counted in the double digits. Unfortunately for him he lost his gig at the commercial farming due to several absences so Barret decided to take out a loan and buy his own land. This was after the birth of his second son and after his wife left him. At this point he became heavily involved in the drug trade, to the extent where he was growing some in his own crops for the bikers. His kids were oblivious to the grow ops, but they knew he was a cronic heroine user. Both Theo and Kael looked down upin his father for this, but he managed to maintain the farm with ease. This was only due to the help of the bikers. They supported the place, helped out when ever necessary, and payed Barret for the grow ops. Barret eventually started using his barn for a Meth lab, although he never started using the drug himself. but the local police started to take notice of the farm, Barret had plenty of protection at the farm with several of the biker gang's lawyers sticking up for him against prior warrants. Barret's trick was that he maintained the farm to such a degree that only his family and the bikers knew he was a user. but after awhile he started driving while impaired.
This brings us to the day and age we are presented in, the setting that this story begins in. 2008 Salina Kansas. Basically, Theo is going to school and trying to have a normal childhood, Kael is trying to carry out the farming duties, but is slowly becoming an alcoholic, and Barret is operating a meth lab in the garage and is starting to drink and drive constantly. We begin in winter, Theo is getting out of school for Christmas vacation, he waits in front of his school for Barret to pick him up in the truck. After an hour and a half of waiting in an extremely rare snow storm Theo goes into the school to wait where he meets his neighbour Jory. Jory is a very mysterious girl, she was born into a very privileged lifestyle but she always wanted to explore the wild side more, so she got into extreme sports like kayaking and mountain climbing when she was young. She lives half a mile away from Theo so he asks her for a ride. Theo doesn't seem to be the smoothest with the ladies, must be his constant nervous mannerism's or his perfectionism. Jory tells him she's still waiting for her parents to arrive. They wait outside the school and by chance Barret has arrived, drunk out of his mind. Theo says goodbye to Jory but Jory asks if she can come with, since they could just drop her off on the way. Theo asks his father and he agrees to do it. Jory calls her parents, and of course they are reluctant to let her ride home with a known drunk, but she persists and eventually it happens. While on the road Jory and Theo get to know each other a bit more. Kael is in the vehicle too and he seems a bit drunk aswell, but he can't keep his eyes off Jory, she's a perfect specimen, even if she's only 12. Barret is crossing the lines on the road and swerving past traffic and doing some intense swerving. Unfortunately the police pull him over. Theo is angry at his father for being an idiot, Kael still can't keep his eyes off Jory, and Jory is extremely curious of the situation.
On this note, i need to fall asleep. so hella huge cliffhanger here. but I think this might turn into a long ass short story since I haven't even gotten to the inciting incident yet. I'll focus in this and a possible webisode in the future.

November/December
I've discovered the Canadian dictionary for Firefox. So i might use it a bit more in future posts. I've been severely lacking for the last couple months. I blame this on writers block and lazyness. Working road construction really wore me to the bone and exhausted the hell out of me. Oddly enough I've started to grow as an actor. I'm currently involved in a makeup project and I think I'm doing a decent job on it. I'm really feeling the actor world, it's easy to find acting gigs for free. And I'm learning so I wouldn't accept any money at this point. But in the future I'd love to focus on both writing and acting on my own work and only my own work. I'd love to try out directing but I don't know enough about the technical stuff to get it right, so for now those 2 will be my passion. As for life, I'm currently living on EI(800$ every two weeks, better then working, until April). I'm going to be focusing on writing and acting as much as possible up until april-ish. Then I'll look for serious work in some sort of labor job, or even in a restaurant. I don't think I can do this lazy lifestyle for too long, but here's preying that I get some sort of writing gig/acting gig and get into that industry!
So anyways, I've decided to really crack down on my writing for the next couple months. This might be really bold, but I'm going to finish the second half of this action thriller I've been working on since june in a coffee shop over the weekend. Won't leave until all 25 pages are done. Then next month I'm going to focus on two mutherfucking scripts! Yea, bold eh? 3 scripts done in 2 months? I better do it, or else I'll just prove that I'm a lazy sack of shit with no ambition to enter this industry. The first script I've already started(10 pages in, comedy high school drama). The other is a horror script that I still need to beat out and focus on. I really love the idea but i need to know how to pull it off elegantly, being that it might be my easiest script to sell. Lucky for me I'm taking a day long bus trip for Christmas. so that should give me a shit load of time to focus on both scripts and crack down on them. I asked for as many transfers as possible so I could charge my laptop as much as possible. I think I can pull off 15 pages for each script during this trip. Then I'll be staying with my dad from the 18th-5th of January. So i should be able to concentrate and crack down while I'm there. It's easy to concentrate when i stay at my dads house. I don't have to worry about my mom yelling for me from the living room because something interesting is happening on the TV, or the desperate need to build the rest of the house I'm living in(Yea, it's a project house with all sorts of crazy shit going on inside of it.) I think it's the fact that I don't need to cook for myself, clean up anything besides my stuff, and it's a relaxing and quiet place.
Anyways, I came on here today to write a short story about a potential script i wanted to start. but I'm thinking it over and it would probably be a good 5-6 pages. I'd write these scripts as novels but i hate the way dialogue flows in novels. It takes me out of my element when I have to write She Said, in clever ways to avoid repetition 3000 times.... I also need some coverage so I can properly rewrite some of the scripts that I wrote away from school. I never did like Broken Home due to it's hostage situation stylings. i think the hostage film has been done to death.

New Script ideas.
I have a couple new script ideas that I'm thinking of beating out a bit. I've decided to pursue low budget ideas before I move onto my bigger ideas(The space drifter, my pirate story, Land of the living skies, etc etc...) I'm still working on 3 scripts and I'm thinking of abandoning 2 of them because I'm just not getting them all down to a science. But Walker seems to have potential.
So anyways. I have 4 script ideas that I want to pursue. Here is some quick log lines of them.
-4 hunters find an american human testing facility in the desolate woods of northern b.c. and beocome experiments for the scientists that inhabit the place.
-A new kid at a clique high school hangs out with the supposed coolest kid in the school.(I wanna act in this, it's more of a drama then a comedy but I have some brave ideas set out for it.)
-A struggling couple goes on a road trip to try and fix their relationship. Unfortunatly the car they bring and the friend of the males test them more then they test each other.
-3 young kids witness a police officer brutally beat up their drunken father, and in an act of defense the oldest one kills the police officer, what follows is years of running from police, officials and the police officers son. While doing so they turn to crime to survive and slowly start to drift apart as they venture across the country.(I got this idea when i seen 3 kids standing in a mcdonalds, they stood in the store looking like orphans for 20 minutes and they didn't order anything or move or talk. They looked like they were gonna rob the place.)
I'm definetly going to tackle the Human testing facility script(Camp Josef) though. After i move to Vancouver i shall put deadlines on Walker and Camp Josef. I also think the 3 young kids on the run script has potential now that I think of it. I love action scripts, especially when they're low budget.

The Space Drifter(Part 1)
I took another break from Camp Josef and my endless amount of projects to post this. It's a really old idea i got that combines my love of drifting with my love for the infinite. i call it the Space Drifter! I think it would make a decent novel. Here's the (Rough) first half of the tale.
(copy and pasted from my post in r9k)
I had this idea for a movie a long time ago set in the future where space travel has beocme public and the universe is slowly becoming industrialized by humans. The universe is starting to shape like in Futurama. There are space highways filled with massive space ships carrying various goods. And there's space wars going on over land ownerships and former military powers on earth trying to establish dominance in the universe and find a profit somewhere out there. But in all of the busyness of space there is one man, a space drifter who has lost his wife and children years ago under the idea that a friend of his from the military killed them and has been pursueing him for the last 15 years, so he's been on the run. Until one day he finds his family in a space station where he went to refuel, and he tells the story of how he become.... The space drifter.
So back 15 years ago, mister space drifter was highly decorated in some inter stellar space battles. Of course he's american, who would watch this movie if he wasn't? and he was fighting the equivalant of afghani space fuckers. So anyways, after one of the wars is over he says he's done fighting, he's going to raise his family and forget he was even involved in the war in the first place. His best friend and wingman tries to understand his case for a normal life, but when the afghani fuckers start bombing cities due to some sort of religious dissagreement among the lands then best friend's superiors demand that they bring the soon to be space drifter back into commision. Best friend goes back to friend during a space USO show where he is being commerorated to ask, but space drifter is all "fuck that noise, i got a family now." Best friend's dark side comes out and he threatens space drifter and threatens to kill his family if he doesn't join. epic space battle happens between the two and mister space drifter ends up nearly dieing, but he is saved by some old wizard fucker who nurses him back to help and gives him words of advice, since space drifter just tried to kill a leading officer(The leading officer being his best friend, and the leading officer having the upper hand of being at the reacting end of the battle, since mister space drifter tried to kill him after his threats got out of hand, and best friend can easily determine mister space drifter as crazy.) the wizard tells the space drifter to get to his family and hide. So mister Space Drifter gets to his house to find it burnt to the ground. In despair and with the idea that his family is dead and he is now a wanted man he goes on the road to find something worth living for.
At first space drifter is reluctant to even show his face in public. but he finds a job to support his running and hiding as a long distance trucker. The war rages on in the background and unfortunatly he ends up killing a dozen or so afghani fuckers who try and hijack him. This gets attention from the space police and the army. "Who in this world can take out a dozen space ships with a fucking hauling ship alone?" Well, mister best friend finds a way to track space drifter down, and oddly enough, so does the space drifters oldest daughter, who has been searching for him secretly since he heard about him being in the battle and knowing her father, he would have managed to survive it all. She goes on looking for him, but his trail goes cold when he ditches for the deepest reaches of space where he finds himself lost and scared. He then coems upon the fucking war again as the americans and the anghanis try and rape the planet he is on. Unfortunatly he becomes a POW for the afghani's and due to his aged self they don't recognize him.
The entire story would be narrated by the space drifter as he tells it to his family, his family of course asking the questions we are curious to know, and their reactions to his actions in the story.

Camp Josef
This is a low budget horror/thriller idea I've been inventing for awhile. I think I got the general plot down after a battle with writers block. here we go.
The story is called Camp Josef. Inspired by the Angel Of Death, Josef Mengele, a nazi officer known for doing human experimenting and being one of the most cinical people to ever live.
So, we start in Prince George B.C. 3 friends, Terrence Edelman, an outdoorsman and a bit of a douchey guy, but he will kill for his friends and his girlfriend, evne though he only has one friend, Ryan Canston, a quiet mellow fellow. Kind of like me, he get flustered when stuff goes un according to plan and makes brash decisions when this happens, but he is an avid hunter and so is Terrance. Terrance also has a girlfriend, Jewel, a blond bombshell who could be a model and be with any other guy in the world besides the obnoxious Terrance, but she loves him because he loves her, and he treats her like a woman should be treated. Jewel is also an enjoyer of the outdoors. Together these 3 decide to go hunting in a top secret place Terrance has chosen. Terrance heard about numerous bear sightings around an old abandoned Camp sight called Camp Josef. Ryan is half native so he can hunt anything on the land. So they head off, but Terrance gets a call from his mom and they go to her house to pick up Terrances nerdy little brother Keneth Edelman. Ken's an extremely timid young man who probably ways 100 pounds, he has little to say and he can't seem to stand up for himself, but Terrances mom treasures him because he is such a lonely guy. Ken asked his mom if he could go on one of Terrances weekend hunting trips so he could become a man by killing something. Terrance reluctantly accepts and takes Keneth along. Terrances mom is dying from lung cancer and she has a hole in her throat that she smokes out of. she's addicted, but doesn't have the willpower to stop. And i guess this personifies ont Keneth's weekness, he doesn't have the willpower to let himself be a bigger man, but he believes that if he proves himself.. to himself, then he can figure a way to cure his mom and to find a better life for himself and his mom.
Terrance brings the group to a small town called Bear Lake to get some supplies. Terrance asks about the town of Anzac and the old Camp Josef. The clerk warns them of the tough terrain to get out there and the wolves and Bears. Terrance smiles at this, he wants there to be rough terrain and Wolves. He drives a massive Ford Explorer with mudders and all the fancy offroading equipment. thye leave with there supplies to last a weekend. They take 2 hours to get to Camp Josef, which is an incredibly Erie desolate camp ground. a park Ranger patrols the area and warns them of the cutline roads and all of the animals. Ryan shows him his red card and The park ranger lets them go further down the road. They go for another 2 hours into the mountains, they begin to reach roads that haven't been maintained in 20 some odd years. They go down a cutline made in the 60's and set up camp right in the middle of the area. The next day they set out to hunt. Terrance kills a coyote bright and early to wake up everyone. They go out for the day and explore the area. During there endevors they find a strange rusted fence that seems to be 50 feet high and stretches around a 5 kilometer radius. They can faintly see with binoculars through the fence what looks to be an old house one kilometer in. They think it might have been an old military house built back in the cold war when American troups built a missile detection facility in the area to watch for russian rockets going over Canada. The place was abandoned and destroyed after the cold war though. Night falls and they return to camp, but Kenneth thinks he seen something beyond the fence. He goes during the night and climbs the fence at an area where a tree fell on the massive bardwire at the top. Kenneth immedietly gets blacked bagged when he hops over. He tries to scream but the guy who did it injects him with something and he falls down. This man is Berry Klehr, he is silent, he doesn't even talk. And he doesn't fuck around, and for some reason he wears hunting gear, as if he was another hunter similiar to the group of good guys.
The next day Terrence wakes up to find his little brother missing. Terrances freaks out and breaks some stuff, Jewel and Ryan calm him down. Terrance decides to make a scout party, he tells Ryan to stay at the camp with a walky talkie just in case Kenneth comes back, Jewel and Terrance say they will be back in 3 hours or less, if they aren't back, go find the park ranger, they don't need Ryan getting lost aswell.
So this is act 1. The first 30 pages.... Should be intense. I'll write out the 2nd and 3rd act in later entries. I'm really tired right now.

Walker Revised
I've been working on this script for the last month or two and I've gotten to page 25 and realized I really need to rethink some of the story. I really need to preplan a lot better, unfortunatly I hate outlining and doing treatments. But they are the best way to plan out a decent script.
so the basic's of the first 20 pages is that Walker is an assasin on his last kill of the night when he is jailed by a 14 year old girl(Katie). Instead of calling the cops, he lets her go because she killed her mothers boyfriend, who was abusing her. Walker lets her live and tells her to runaway. Instead Katie follows Walker back to his home in an industrial park. Katie ends up getting caught by a guard and Walker stands up for her before she is killed by his father. Walker and Katie are both injured in the incident and so is Walker's father(Ronald). Walker says he is taking her to safety.Meanwwhile Ronald fixes himself up at the house, Tarvin, another assasin for Ronald comes and meets hinm and takes on the task of finding Walker and killing Katie. They go to Walker's only friends house, Danny, a drug dealer who lives with his mom. Walker and Katie get fixed up by danny and are off on there way. They start walking towards the boarder. Walker ends up talking to Katie and getting to know her more, but when she needs to go to the bathroom they go to a gas station. At the gas station two gang members try and rob the place. They notice Walker and mention his father getting injured, the gang member then brings up the cost on his head, Walker then reacts when Katie comes out of the bathroom, he saves her and kills the two gang members and the gas station owner shoots at the two of them as they escape.
More to come, i'm tired right now.
so the basic's of the first 20 pages is that Walker is an assasin on his last kill of the night when he is jailed by a 14 year old girl(Katie). Land Of The Living Skies
This is one of those spec scripts that I'm beating out in my imagination since I finished the second draft of The Getaway Driver. In a way this is a sequal to it, although the two main protagonists are different, the style and the themes are fairly similiar. So I've decided to write it out on my blog here, because that is what I do....
We start with two kids in Montana 1974, maybe 10 or 11, Josh and Brant. Josh is the slick talking ladies man who always has a plan, he uses every opportunity he can find and he enjoys the crime life more then anything else. Brant is the getaway driver for him, he's simple minded but nice, he doesn;t care about the money but he enjoys the rush. These two are best friends, Josh introduces Brant to the life of crime by first stealing a gumball machine using a go kart. Then it escalates to higher and higher crimes through their childhood. Josh constantly making plans and Brant enjoying the ride. Up until 1982 when they are both 17. Josh(Who I think would be Josh Halloway AKA Sawyer from Lost.) has an aching to cause the biggest crime, Murder and robbery. Brant is up for it aslong as it all goes smooth. Unfortunatly it all goes wrong when Josh chats it up with a teenaged mom outside the bank they just robbed. The cops show up the two book it a Pontiac Trans Am. Brant ends up getting in a car accident after outrunning the cops. The cops show up and Josh runs from the scene while Brant takes the fall for the crime. Brant goes to jail for 20 years for robbery and 2nd degree murder. When he gets out Josh is there with a cab. Josh brings him to a car dealership so he can repay him for going to prison for both of them. Brant understands and apoligizes. During the 20 years josh decided to sway away from crime and do the 9-5 thing. But after buying the car(A 2002 trans am.) They go to a Bank and Josh robs the place out of impulse. Brant is suprised and jets it. They end up in another cop chase, as it turns out Josh just seen the opportunity and took it. Josh suggests going to the boarder so Brant manages to get away from the police by causing a car accident with the help of Josh's fire arm skills and they end up crashing right over the boarder into the land of the living skies! Saskatchewen! They get there and think everything is alright so they stay at a hotel for the night. Meanwhile one of the cops who was chasing them is Sheriff Reynolds from The Getaway driver. He calls up his favorite bounty Hunter, now in his 50's, Rick Magresis, to come in and find the two that just robbed a bank and killed a person. But Rick is briefed that Josh has been doing something else for the last couple years(Illegal stuff.) Reynolds can't cross the boarders anymore so Rick goes for him.
Josh and Brent decide to hit the town while they wait for the heat to calm down. Josh ends up meeting Carey who is a small town girl who is way to book smart. Josh tries his moves but they don't work, but Carey goes for Brent because of his simple nature and his respect for the value of time of life. While Carey and Brent go and hang out in the hotel, Josh ends up robbing a convience store due to his drunken anger. He heads back to the hotel and gets Brent and Carey to take him away from the town. All 3 of them drive off into the darkness and head to the big city to hide, Carey says they can stay in her uncles house. They get there and by the first sight they enjoy what they see. As it turns out, Carey is quite the criminal aswell, or she wants to be. And her Uncle is a drug dealer and lets them stay the night. Rick shows up at the grocery store and talks to the grocery store clerk and finds out about the trans am. He then goes to the bartender and learns of Carey. He learns of her last name and starts looking around town. But when he hears from the hotel clerk that they left in a hurry he looks up names around the province and learns of the uncle and heads to town.
He gets to the uncles house and knocks on the door. Josh, Carey and Brent runaway and Rick goes on a chase through the city. Rick causes them to crash and Josh,Carey and Brent split up. Brent and Carey steal a new car and Josh ends up in house party hiding. He finds a girl and starts hiting on her. Brent and Carey are chased by local police after striking a lightpost once Carey starts giving Brent some sort of sexual pleasure. Josh ends up sleeping with this under age teen and ends up getting a gun pulled on him by the chicks father in the morning. He ends up outpowering the father and stealing his truck, but he can barely drive it. but he ends up putting out of town. Carey convinces Brent to get out of the country and back to montana to get away from josh. Brent tries for the idea but experiences thr boarder patrol and turns around. Rick manages to find Brent and they go on a wicked car chase through the desert area known as Cyprus Hills. Brent ends up crashing after letting Carey go. Josh decides to head back to town to find his old friend.
Brent is captured by Rick and questioned, after realizing that Josh is the only reason he is this much shit Rick decides to let him go if he can only catch Josh. Brent doesn't respond to this setup. bur he gets a hold Josh through a cell phone that he gave him after he got out of jail. Brent ends up meeting josh back in town and the cops show up. Brent leaves josh and heads off, Josh ends up in jail and realizes the faults in his ways....
This is all pretty loose, but most of scripts I work out during the script process.

Movies
So... My life has turned into work and movies. That's about it. On the writing scale I've started 3 features that I'm slowly picking at every now and then. But this post will be dedicated to the thousands of movies I've watched in the last couple weeks. Here is some brief reviews and such, nothing serious.
I'm currently watching Garden State-I wasn't expecting much going into this but like all of the movies I've recently bought, it only costed 2$. This movie is kinda pretentious and it's not very funny. But the story is relevant to my interests because it reminds me of a script I began and sadly lost when my Flashdrive dissapeared. So, it gets a 7.5/10
Desperado-I'm a fan of Rodriguez, but I've only seen a couple of his flicks. And if I ever want to get the Getaway driver(In what could possibly be 10 or 20 years) then I should get to know mister Rodriguez's style. And wow, I hit the nail on this one. Desperado was a bit too surreal and outrageous compared to the Getaway Driver, but the action is pretty friggen badass. Tons of gun violence, tons of explosions and tons of badassery. If only it had a bit more of a plot then it would be solid.-8/10
Videodrome-I've never seen a REAL Cronenberg flick(History of Violence seemed too accesible for me to compare with the likes of this.) And I really wanted to get into his stuff because he is one of few famous Canadian directors. Well, Videodrome is on some next level WTF. I was a bit thrown off by the entire plot, but jesus, this is some unique shit. It's definetly a strange and haunting movie. Might have been one of the only movies to make me ask "What the fuck is wrong with this movie?!!?" But then James Wood put a gun in his stomache and it dissapeared, that's when I stopped blinking. True art right here, well, horror art. I want one of those breathing TV's, would be so friggen awesome.-9/10
The Descent-Didn't expect much. I recieved more then I bargained for. Not only was it a decent thrill ride, but it had some amazing cinematography and shots. The ending left me puzzled, until I read a forum post that explained that the main character(The woman who lost her husband at the start) was going insane and the monsters were fake and she killed all her friends during her "Descent" into madness. But it was an ambigious ending, so she could have escaped... Still, I'm looking forward to Neil Marshal's next flick Centurion. -9/10
Blazing Saddles-The best Parody movie i think I've ever seen. I again didn't expect this much from a parody flick about westerns. But oh man, I think i'm going to use qoutes from this movie forever- Piss on you, I'm working for Mel Brooks!, Where the white woman at?, Stop standing around like a bunch of Kansas City faggots, Mongo only pawn... In game of life. Somebody's gotta go back and get a shitload of dimes!-9.5/10
Primer-I was told it was confusing and I shouldn't expect much from it. But I wanted to see it just to say I've seen it. I ended up buying it for 2$ and I watched it half assed like(similiar to how i'm watching Garden State right now.) I didn't understand anything in the movie. I honestly think this is half because of a shitload of exposition, and second is because of the reason stated above.-5/10 After a second viewing it might rise...
A Clockwork Orange- I was anticipating watching this one for a very long time. I've never seen it at any stores and I was told it was banned(Which was true back in the olden days.) The first 20 minutes made me aware that this might be one of the best films ever made. Some of the scenes in this flick made me think of just how much probably went into this film and how much time and effort went into every shot. Jesus Kubrick, you are a god among fools. 10/10
Elephant-I was told about the amount of patience one must have to watch this flick, and holy shit. The plot could have been put into an episode of Degrassi. But that is not why this movie is beyond epic. It's the style and atmosphere. To be honest, this might be the first movie that made me feel like I was IN that school. Ultimate Voyerism. Definetly going to check out more Gus Van Sant because he has an awesome style that I apreciate. His writing is a bit overdone with metaphors and shit that seems to come from nowhere(Like the guys kissing in the shower and why exactly these two kids are shooting up a school?)Still, one takes of people walking down a hallway is so oddly enticing. 9/10
Deliverance-I watched this and The Descent shortly after a canoe trip... I really should have watched them before hand. But anyways, Deliverance has some amazing items involved in it. It makes me fear rednecks and rivers. Burt Reynolds is badass and jon Voight looks good with a stach. and rape looks painful. 9.5/10
I still have a shitton of movies to get through-The Exorcist, BrokeBack Mountain, Magnolia, The Good The Bad And The Ugly, Patton, Raging Bull, Gosford Park, The Prestige, For a Few Dollars More, Zodiac, It's a Wonderful Life, Revolver, Edward Scissor Hands, The Meaning of life, Apocolypto, The Forbidden Kingdom, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Fifth Element, Transformers 2(I don't know why, but I bought it for 2$...), Hostage(The Bruce Willis one.) And I Heart Huckabees, which I'm watching now.

Prime Land
I failed at the Script Frenzy 100 pages in 30 days contest. I was off to a strong start, I had 40 pages in the first 10 days. But school took advantage of my time. I also ran into numerous problems with the latter half of the second act and third act. I had no idea how to work it all out because I never did bother to do a beatsheet before starting(A big mistake.) And I now have to go back and rewrite the 1st act in order to make some major changes. All in all i got up to page 62. I plan to be incredibly inspired next month when I go back home and go to a few grads and spend time with my pops.
Here is the script in a nutshell-
Robbie Hutton is going to University to become a doctor, he's married to Dia, who worked at coffee shop that Robbie frequented. Dia has a 9 year old kid that she had when she was 14. Rob has taken the resposibility of being the father of Cameron, the 9 year old. Anyways, Rob's father dies in a fire trying to save some of the cattle on the Hutton farm. Rob comes back to the farm for the funeral and accepts the farm from his will. The farm has lived through the Hutton name for 11 generations, and Rob feels guilty for stopping the tradition at him, so he accepts the responsibilty to take over the farm. Dia is hesitant, but she accepts. There is also another piece of the puzzle, Roy Miller and his counterpart Catcher, are ranchers. Roy owns a massive amount of land and for his entire life he has wanted the Hutton valley. He is also an alcoholic and a Gambler, and Catcher is silent and tough. Roy tries to buy the farm from Rob after Rob inherits it, but Rob denies him. Rob and the old farm hand Quintin fix up the farm. But over a years time Dia begins to dislike Rob never being home. Dia finally says she is going back to the city, she can't take the lifestyle anymore. Rob continues to live on the farm. But Roy comes back to buy the farm, thinking that Dia leaving will make Rob sell it. Roy rages when Rob denies him again. The next day Rob's tractor starts on fire, Rob thinks Roy did it and gets the police involved. But Rob gets proven wrong. Rob then realizes that he won't be able to make it through the year without the tractor, so he decides to sell all the cattle and turn the pasture into farmland. He goes to the big city and talks to an old friend of his who works as a professor for Agricultural studies named Dartry. Dartry is ambitious and takes on the task of converting the farm with a now cranky Quintin(Quin was a cowman who resents technology, now he has to work with a brand new tractor and his cattle are gone.) In that time Rob tries to reconcile with his family and convince them to come back to the farm, promising Dia that he will spend more time with her. They go to the mountains for a family ski trip. Rob convinces Dia, but he must also convince Cameron who has become accustomed to the city life again. Quintin and Dartry are working on the farm, Quin goes to get more dirt to fill in a hole. On the way to get more dirt Roy and Catcher unsuspectedly follow him. We get a glimpse that Roy is cautious about who Catcher talks to. This ties in later when it turns out that Roy made Catcher start the fire that killed rob's father at the begining.
This is where I'm at. This is what will follow.
While following though, Quintin crashes. Roy and Catcher save Quintin who gets out of the truck with a broken arm. Rob comes back to town and immedietly blames Roy. roy gets pissed off and heads off with Catcher. Rob is restrained by Quin, who admits that it was himself that caused the accident. Rob then goes on a fishing trip with Cameron to talk to him about the farm and if he wants to move back. While back at the shore Quin tells Dia why Rob originally went to school. As it turns out, Rob's mother had a terrible disease and died because of it. Rob decided he would rather work for a future that meant something rather then stick with the farm. Cameron doesn't want to live on the farm, he enjoys his friends and such in the city. Dia and Cameron decide to stay the weekend. During the entire weekend Robert has to work becuase of Quintin being Injured. Once Robert comes back Dia is packing up and crying. Dia tries to get away but her vehicle wont work. Dia demands Robert to leave because she partially owns the house. Robert finally does. Robert goes tot he bar and drinks. Meanwhile, Roy and Catcher are in town. Roy finally tells us his whole plan from day 1, and that he's getting incredibly pissed that he has to wait until Rob keals over to get that land. After losing a poker game and beating a guy up, Roy goes overboard and demands Catcher to go set the farm on fire again. Catcher goes against Roy. But Roy knocks catcher out and leaves to go back to the farm area. Robert goes to Quintin's house drunk out of his mind and starts a fight with him blaming him for all of this. Quintin defends himself and get's Robert restrains and talks him out of his drunken rage. Quintin offers him his sofa, and tells him he should get awya from the farmlife, it's not for him. Roy gets to the Hutton farm and starts everything on fire. He gets to the shop and starts it on fire. Quintin wakes Rob up and Rob heads back to the farm. Rob saves his family from the burning house and they run back to shelter at Quin's house.
The next day Roy comes to Quin's and asks to buy the farm again. We then cut to Rob going to the land office, then Rob packing up and driving to the city. Then Rob going to the University and talking to Dartry. Then we go back to Roy and Rob. Rob simply says no, moments later Catcher comes in with the police and arrest Roy. Rob moves back to the city and goes back to school and stays with his family. He gives the farm to the University for research ground. And Quintin helps out on that farm and starts driving a tractor.
I hope to have it done with the rewritten first act at the end of May. I think I can pull it off with some help from my dad who knows more about this world then I do.

Dia demands Robert to leave because she partially owns the house. Robert finally does. Robert goes tot he bar and drinks. Meanwhile, Roy and Catcher are in town.

Recent Movies
The library has become an addiction for me. I'm watching so many movies lately that I can't find the time to talk to people about them. So here it is... also, I've swayed away from my movie list a long time ago. But I'm slowly getting some of them off of there. So here it is, some of the movies i've watched lately and what I think of them...
All About Eve-Some of the best acting ever. Makes sense since it was a play first because everyones dialogue is way to god dman sophisticated. The end of the movie is pretty awesome aswell, Eve gets served and the person Eve was linching off of lives (sort of) happily ever after.-8.5/10
Black Dynamite-Best spoof movie ever. Black Dynamite is a badass character and everything he does and says is pure awesome. Really wish more people knew about this movie because it is pure win.-9/10
Slapshot-I love hockey movies, and I love random fights and outbursts of anger. Unfortunatly I didn't get to finish it but it was pretty amazing. The Hansen brothers make this movie.
United 93-Nearly cried manly tears. The best movie involving planes... I felt like I was in all of the scenes with everyone, it almost felt like watching a documentary due to all the clearly improvised and realistic dialogue. It's also interesting to note that the plot is in real time. -9/10
Anytown, usa-A blind guy with no job and no money tries to run for mayor of a small town. He's up against the current mayor who knows what he is doing, and a mobster looking fellow who doesn't seem to care. The movie showed small town america in a light i've never seen it. I personally never thought of voting to be such a big thing but it is for americans. It also has a really touching ending.-7.5/10
Battleship Potemkin-Oldest movie I've ever seen (1925.) It was an interesting movie when you think about the plot and what country it came out of. A bunch of higher up leaders on a battleship force the lower ranks to eat rotten meat and do slave labor while they cherish all the rewards. The men battle back due to the dictatorship among the people. In the end all the common people flal behind this ship and it's lower class people. And well, Soviet union bro...-8.5/10
The Thin Red Line-Visually one of the best war films I've ever seen. Besides the death scene of Woodie Harrelson non of the movie felt cliche. Unlike Saving Private Ryan. And even that scene played against the cliche. The story itself is really all over the place. And Adrien Brody is in it the most, yet he never does talk. It's my favorite ww2 movie now.-10/10
The Green Zone-Pretty good writing. Annoying camera styles and to be honest, it felt like a really small movie with a stupidly massive budget for what it contained.-6.5/10
Kick Ass-Great Comedy, Great Action, Great characters. My only problem with it was the fact that it followed the cliche hollywood standard of our day. To entertain the youth and make hollow films only to generate profit. The reason I kind of dislike this film is because it relied heavily on our modern era fads and pop culture. In ten years from now all of it will be obsolete and this movie will be extremely dated and bleak.-8/10
How To Train A Dragon-Toothless is beyond adorable. And almost every scene involving dragons flying is spectacular and breath taking. I watched it on the net so I didn't get the whole experience but i'm definetly buying this movie when it comes out on dvd. Just wished it was a little bit longer.-8.5/10
Hot tub Time Machine-It had some good one liners, but the last half of the movie went by a little to fast for my liking. I think they could have explored the 80's a bit better. Also the call to the 8 year old was amazing.-7/10
Streetcar Named Desire-Brando is a god and that bitch was clearly crazy. I feel for him because she was being annoying and ruining his somewhat peaceful household. But Stella was caught inbetween both of these lunatics. Poor Stella.-9/10
I Heart Huckabees-Confusing plot. But a great message at the end. At times I was about to shut it off due to all the preachy existenialism chat but I think the non existantialism chat and mark whalberg kept me entertained.-7/10
Fantastic Mr.Fox-Fantastic, the best stop motion pic I've seen. It was the perfect length, and it was all perfectly cast. Bill Murray as the Badger, cussin awesome. And Jason Schwartzmans dead pan character was well played-9.5/10
Rashomon-The first Kurosawa flick i've seen all the way through. It is by far the most flawless mystery tale ever. To explain why I'd ruin the plot, but the themes balanced in it are thought provocking to say the least. And the cinematography is top notch.-10/10
Rain Man-I enjoy Tom Cruise. He's an energetic guy and he plays the type of character in this movie perfectly. And Hoffman is effing brilliant in this. It is truely a timeless film from it's cinematography to its themes and its performances. -9.5/10
The Brothers Bloom-I liked Rian Johnson's first film Brick and I liked this one. not so much as Brick but it still had some really cool characters and it once again showed that Rian johnson is a competant director. The card trick scene involving Rachel Weisz is... "Wow". -7.5/10
HUD-Paul Newman is badass beyond badassery. He takes it way to far though and smacks some folks up. It really inspired me to write my current feature which shares some of the similiar themes and stylings and plot aspects. The only problem i had with the film is that I didn't think that HUD's dad died in an epic enough way, given what he went through.-9/10
Lawrence of Arabia-The definition of EPIC. 4 hours long, massive armies, massive story, god like characters. The only thing I didn't like was the whole... 4 hours thing.-9/10
Holy Grail-I think I laughed more reminiscing about it with friends then I did while watching it. It definetly has some awesome replay value-9/10
Being john Malkovich-Strange, but great. some really different styles being explored in this flick. i'm also a big Malkovich fan, even though I've only seen a couple of his flicks. In my last script I wrote the antagonist with him in mind.-8.5/10
Barton Fink-Great performances by all and some of the best dialogue exchanges in a Coen brothers movie. I needed the ending to be explained to me, but it is pretty dense. It is also sort of inspiring and uninspiring for writers.-8/10
Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid-Anoth Paul Newman flick! One of the best westerns ever made. Just wished the bike scene was made a little shorter, felt really stupid.-9/10

The Walker
Another idea that randomly popped into my head. I was waiting for the skytrain and I randomly made up a scene in my head. So i added onto that scene and thouight of a great movie idea(All in a single skytrain ride.)
A young man named Devan Walker goes to an empty train station where one man awaits him. Walker asks his name thne shoots him. He then walks to a house and asks who lives there, he shoots the occupants of the house. He then goes to another house, walking a rediculously long walk through out a large city. He gets to the house and knocks on the door, no answer so he breaks in. He kills two parents then randomly gets stabbed by some kid. He wastes the rest of his ammo and misses. He chases after the kid only to fall down some stairs into a cellar. The door is locked, and the girl asks who he is, the Walker doesn't say anything, then the girl asks wky he killed her parents. Walker takes out a notebook from his backpack and reads the profile on the parents, he finds out that they are both raging alcoholics, and that they beat the kid. Walker puts away the notebook then smashes the door open. Instead of killing the girl he offers her a hand. He walks with her, she continues to pester him with questions, he finally tells her that he's going to bring her to his father.
When he gets to his father we find out he's a hitman for a bounty hunter, all of the people he killed owed money and didn't pay. Walker hides the girl outside the mob place. When Walker brings up the girl the father asks if he killed her. Walker hesitates and says he did. Then the girl pops up and The father gets men to kidnap her, Walker has a change of heart and pulls a gun and shoots three men and shoots at his father. His father shoots back and injures him. Walker escapes with the girl.
Walker gets a safe distance from the mob place and the girl(Let's name her Sarah, she's about 12) is made at him for nearly getting her kidnapped, we finally get her into the light and realized she has bruises from being beaten. Walker apoligizes and says he is going to get her a safe distance away from the city, she brings up an uncle of hers that is a a teacher, Walker says he will bring her there, but he lives a city away. Walker says he only walks, no buses, no cars, no trains. Sarah asks why she can't go alone, because she's only 12 and the mob might be after her aswell as him. Walker says he will bring her there.
Walker and her start walking and talking. Walker is quite silent but we learn more about Sarah here, she's actually happy to leave being that her parents were alcoholics and gamblers. She enjoys riding bikes, playing yahtzee, listening to electronic pop, and watching Star Wars. Walker has been raised his entire life by the mod with no mother, that's all he has to say. He still hasn't nursed the wound yet and Sarah address it. Walker goes to a friend to the mobs house named Danny. Danny is a medical guy who also sells drugs. Danny stitches it up and and takes the bullet out but he says it might be infected and Walker should seek medical help. Walker will worry about that later, Danny asks some questions and Walker tells him to tell anyone in the mob that he was never here. Walker leaves with Sarah and they start back off again.
Sarah is hungry so Walker brings her to a grocery store. Walker buys some things but Sarah doesn't want to eat food from there. So they go to Mcdonalds. Walker bought a yahtzee set at the store and Sarah teaches Walker how to play. They bond over it and after the meal they hold hands as they hike down a river to the next town. They get to gas station to a gas station so Sarah can go to the washroom. The gas station gets held up and Walker gets told to give one of the crooks his backpack. Walker shoots the crook and the guy robbing the counter in a swift emotionless motion. The shootout heightens when the guy behind the counter pulls a gun. Walker hides and reloads and Sarah gets out of the washroom. Sarah is scared and Walker gets her out of the way and escapes the building. While doing so Walker sprains his ancle.
Sarah begins to lecture him on what he did, Walker takes it all in and apoligizes. He can barely walk, but they get back to the river and hide. Sarah asks why he is like this, Walker admits that he was beaten as a child aswell, and that he was made into the man he is because of it. Walker also admits that he doesn't trust transportation, it killed his mother right infront of him. They end up sleeping over night under the bridge and playing another game of Yahtzee. Half way through the night Walker starts coughing and eventually coughs up blood. He looks at his wound and sees it's infected. He cleans it off and gets some tissue and tape and covers it.
They wake up and Sarah says she wants to walk along the road. they're only about 30 kilometers away. Walker agrees. They get on the road and start walking, but then a cop car pulls over. They threaten to arrest him, Walker is about to take out his pistol but Sarah stops him. Sarah takes out the pistol and shoots at the cop car. Walker and Sarah escape on foot into the bushes. Walker ends up falling and coughing up more blood. Walker tells Sarah to get away from all of this and get to her uncles. Sarah sees the cops coming and she accepts and takes his backpack and gun. Walker tells her tot hrow them away. Walker gets arrested and brought into the cop car. They arrest him to the cop car for what he did at the gas station. They bring him to the city he was going towards. They get to the city and a vehicle destroys the cop car and releases Walker. The guy who did it is his father. His father tells Walker that he killed Danny for helping a betrayer, and he killed the two cops so his father could kill him himself. He also mentions that he is going to go find Sarah and kill him right infront of her for doing all of this. Walker starts coughing again, he coughs up more blood and faints. His father wakes Walker up and brings him to his feet. The father brings him into the house and shows him the Uncle. The Father then shoots the uncle. He then goes to Sarah, Walker manages to unfold himself shortly before they get ready to shoot her. Walker shoots both men beside him and another guy. The father and Walker have a standoff. Walker and The Father both shoot after exchanging some words. Walker gets mortally wounded, but he releases Sarah. Walker apoligizes for this, Sarah tries to help him but he's a gonner. Walker tells him to leave before people show up. Walker apoligizes and thanks her for being the first human contact he ever managed to help. Sarah hugs him, then she takes the backpack and heads off into the sunset, walking..
so i mostly made this up as I went along. But it seems like a fun idea. I love those random anti-heros who kill people emotionless, i find it haunting(Like in The Dark Knight, History of Violence, or Leonne spaghetti Westerns.) I'll think more about this later, some feedback would be cool. And if it sounds to cliche then let me no.

Writing on my blog
So this month has been flying by, both in school and outside of school. The plan is to move back to G.P and get a fulltime job to pay off debts and such. Once November rolls around i'll head back here and do whatever I find to be a suitable occupation while I work on other things. I'm also seriously considering branching out into the indie film market. I got some ideas for easy to make flicks that I could make in G.P. While I'm there i'll get a camera and work on camera techniques and make some short films and such on my off time.
On April 1st I joined the Script Frenzy thing and started writing a script that I barely had thought out. And this weekend i felt incredibly drained and lazy. I really wanted to get this script done within the month but i have a feeling that I don't know where I'm taking it. I'm on page 40 right now and I feel that the conflict is way too light... Oh well. I'll finish it despite the fact that I don't know where it's going. The only thing I really need to focus on it is the first act which needs a major rewrite in order to add a new character and fix some believability issues that troubled me.
This is the only place that I can really let loose on my writing as far as outlines go. So I'm going to follow up my last blog post with character Bio's for the characters in my NEXT feature. Which i'll start in mid May. This next feature is going to be in the indie light hearted comedy genre. Something like Little Miss Sunshine or Nick And Nora's infinite playlist. I'm writing this one entirely for amusement and to mock the genre. But after making some character Bio's I think it has some possibilities... Here are the character Bio's and the actors I'm writing for them in mind. Obviously they would never act in it, but i like to dream :3... Oh but first. I must write the story. Shit..
The story in a few sentances-Micheal is an awkward teenager who goes to school on the 22nd of december and is told by the girl of his dreams that there's gonna be an awesome concert by one of his favorite bands palying on christmas day. And the girl of his dreams says she is going to get stupid hammered at the concert. So Micheal goes to his parents and asks and they say he must go to the big family christmas. Micheal doesn't much care for it, but he shrugs it off, stating that there will be other chances, and the Wilson brothers(They beat him up shortly after the conversation with the hot girl, simply because he was talking to her) will be there.
The family is clearly disfunctial and crazy. 4 brothers, 3 of them served time in different wars, a grandpa, and grandpas brother. The only kids belong to Micheals family. The kids are both drug addicts that later form an incest relationship(lol.) So for the first half of act 2 Micheal will try and cope with the family and there shenanigans. He will suffer the agony of playing pond hockey with his family. Having a christmas dinner accident, dealing with a war arguement, and then finally when he is about to go to sleep, he gets a text from the girl who just can't wait. He talks to his uncles wife about the whole thing, and she's pretty much lays it al out for him on what the cons and the pros are. Micheal being biased goes with the pros, gorgeous girl, might get laid, getting away from psycho family... The thing he neglects is that he needs to be with his family, even if they're disfunctional and crazy. So Christmas day Micheal opens up his gifts, and asks again if he can go to the show tonight. Micheal gets shot down. Then starts looknig at other options. his first option is his brother, he fails at that, then his mother, then one uncle that tells him to go, then one that tells him not, then finally he talks to the aunt again and he gives him the keys with the same reasonings as before(The pros and cons, reminding him again.) Micheal takes it and heads off to his concert.
Once he got to the concert he would meet with the girl and attend the show. But his family will be close behind them, (all of his family). The family gets there and crashes it pretty much. The wilson brothers are there and break up Micheal and the girl, Micheal nearly gets in a fight when the family intervenes. The grandpa and the uncle hear a comment from one of the Wilson brothers about how the war is wrong etc and they snap and kick the shit out of them. Meanwhile Micheal tries to escape the emberessment, the other uncle, the one believed to have shell shocked and can't talk. He pretty much spells it all out for Micheal about how he needs his family etc.. The entire family gets kicked out and micheal apoligizes. Micheal gets grounded, but some of the family sympathisizes.. So, the family decides to join him in going back to the concert. The Wilson brothers cower in fear and leave. Micheal goes to the girl woh is weirded out by the whole family thing at first, but they snuggle and such, nothing serious.
This was a shitty outline writing. But hey, it's a comedy. and most comedies aren't very easy to write...
INDIE AS FUCK
I wrote this in referance to a picture making fun of all the wacky indie comedies.
Ok here is my pitch for this story. Micheal(Micheal Cera) is being bullied by two brothers at his high school(Owen and Luke Wilson). He goes home to his somewhat dysfunctional family. His father(Bill Murray), his young gorgeous mom(Cameron Diaz), his prissy drug addicted sister(Kirsten Stewart) and his douchey jock big brother who is over for christmas(Robert Pattinson). He goes to his school again and hangs with his friend(Zack Galafanakis(sp?), and the girl of his dreams(Ellen Page). He tries to talk to her, but the wilson brothers kick his ass and make him eat dirt. So the next day Micheal gores on a roadtrip with his family to visit the whole family. They get there, shenanigans involving music, family issues and teenage puberty. Some of the uncles consist of Tobias, Will Arnett, William Shatner, Willem Dafoe, Jason Bateman, and The Sheen brothers who are woman seducing sex addicts. Throughout the family visit Micheal get's the encouragement from his messed up family to face the bullies and get the girl. In the third act he ends up going to a new years dance and instead of kicking the shit out of the wilson brothers, he does a really cool guitar solo that ends awkwardly. Ellen page is the only one that claps. And The Wilson brothers threaten to beat him up. But The Sheen brothers beat them up instead.... Indie As Fuck

Imrpovise.
You start out with an idea, you transform the idea in your head, the more you think about it the more ideas you get, the more ideas you get the more the story expands. You do this until you know alll the characters, the conflict between them, and what needs to be resolved in the end. Then you find a meaning to all of it. Don't bother to write any of this down, you will just throw it away. Now, after about a month of thinking, you start writing it down, scene for scene, line for line, improvising everything from what you've gathered over the ideas in your head. You lock yourself in a small room, you wait until it starts raining, you turn on some music for the tone, then you don't stop until everything works and everything is finished.

Finished Broken Home
Broken Home-Thriller, Drama
I wrote the original outline before christmas on my blog here. It was pretty weak but after a few ffp classes I made it into something interesting and dynamic. Suprisingly I stayed with the same theme and story style and archs, and throughout each rewrite of the outline I realized how malleable the plot was due to the strong chracters and sticking to the same themes and genre.
Now I just finished it today :3, I'm doing a full read through right now before sending it into Katt for the ffp class. I'm gonna post some of the crazy shit to be expected from it.
-Car accident, wife is practically dead infront of our protagonist Frank right in front of him, he can't do anything about it.
-Shelby get's punched/knocked out by the antagonis(Vincent) which starts the 2nd act.
-Mick gets a pen in his arm.
-A dog gets impaled by a broken hockey stick offscreen for barking too much.
-Heather(The youngest, 11 years old) gets beaten up by Vincent off screen while the entire family hears it and can't do a damn thing about it.
-Mick gets his ass thrown out a window during one hell of a beating.
-Frank gets stabbed and left with an Unconcious Heather in a now burning house.
-Shay gets hit, followed by Mick baseball swinging a firepoker into the side of Vincent's head. He doesn't die of course.
-Shelby saves Frank by throwing him off the roof right before the hous eis completely engulfed in flames.
-Shay nearly falls through the floor of the second level of the barn, below is an old rusted spike harrow(Evil piece of machinery with lots of spikes and such. She escapes in a Indiana Jones-esque style.
-Epic fight on third level of Barn with Mick, Shay and Vincent, Vincent nearly gets hanged but falls down onto the Harrows.
I rewrote the third act because a lot of it lacked the action essential to make a good thriller. I think the new third act works a lot better. I tried to get everything in there, focus objects, ticking clocks, progressive complications, breathing room(To a degree), and some reality to all of it.

To make a Film, Or to not make a film
I'm moving back to grande Prairie the day after I graduate. My reasoning, free rent, free food, I miss my cat, and while basking in free rent and food I can concentrate on saving money and paying off my credit card, grandpa and start on paying off my schooling. I'm praying to god that I can get a decent paying full time job within the week I get back. This means i'm gonna have to dedicate myself to searching in a city that is in a bit of a job slump... But anyways, if the job thing works out then I'll be straight working all summer. Except for Warped tour, which will be placed in md august in Edmonton. I'll probably stay 2-3 days extra to enjoy E-Town and hang out with ol Gregolas.
So anyways, once September comes I've decided to make a plan for the year of 2011. Now here is my idea
1.-Stay in Grande Prairie, Rustle some friends together and work on a feature film that I have laid out over the winter. While doing so i'll work part time and try and master the art of directing with the help of some established friends.(I'm also considering Acting in this feature idea..)
2.Move back to Vancouver and get a 1 bedroom apartment or basement suite. Work full time in an industry that I find fitting(I really wanna get into the Courier business. I would also settle for anything relating to movies.) I would be writting scripts and work on my directing abilities. Get a cat and gather a savings that will go towards a possible quest to L.A once the time and funds come together.
3. Start doing crack after failing as a writer. Manage to make a business out of crack. Sell it, make it... End up getting arrested or raped by coke dealers who claim the city as their turf.
4.Move to Banff and become a lift jockey.
5.Consider becoming a travelling graffiti artist living off gambling winnings.
6.Sell a kidney in order to merry a woman to impress her father so I could get a job at his factory...

Prime Land
Prime Land-A modern day setting placed within a classic western story.
A sadistic gambling rancher who just so happens to own a retarded amount of land on the edge of the farmland of northern canada wants the last available piece of land. Which belongs to A young man who looks way too sophisticated to be a farmer, but he is, and he owns the best known land in the district, and one of the biggest lots. The rancher offers a large sum of land for the land, one that would make most farmers cry. But the farmer says he will never sell the land. 15 years ago this farm used to be a ranch and it used to be all trees. But one day during a storm the forst started on fire. In a desperate effort to save the cattle that grazed in the forest the owner of the farm(The farmer in the rest of the story) tried to save them and also save some of his equipment. Unfortunatly he died during the fire and most of his cattle died aswell. The farmers dad left the farm to his son, who was a year away from becoming a doctor and recently became a father and a husband. The farm has been within his family for the last 150 years. Despite pressure from his wife, the farmer decided to maintain the farm. The wife stayed by his side because he loved him. But after 5 years of the farmer trying to transform the forest that burnt to the ground into a prime plot of farmland the wife became annoyed with the lifestyle and divorced him. The farmer nearly quit, but he stuck with it. This land belongs to the family and it will always belong to the family. So back to modern day. The farmer begins to find signs of sabotage to his farm. He thinks very little of it until his tractor catches on fire. He immeditly gets police involved to investigate the rancher but the rancher has no signs of involvement. The farmer knew it was him so he attacks back and releases a massive amount of cattle which causes an accident. The rancher is sued and tries to trace it back to the farmer but he made it look like the cows caused the whole escape. The farmer get's a restraining order put on the Rancher. But to do so he meets back with his wife who studied law. his wife sees what he's doing and tells him to stop. The farmer brings her to the land and again she pursaudes him to sell the land and do what he was meant to do. Even if the land has been in the family for such a long time doesn't mean it has to continue being that way. Tradition must end, and normally a fire should end it. The farmer offers to think about it. They eventually reconsile there differences and the next morning the farmer goes to sign the papers to hand over the farm but on the way the Rancher plotted to destroy the land, which iis actually revealed by one of the cronnies of the rancher to be the second time he has done this(He started the fire which killed the father.) The cronnie denies doing it. so the rancher does it himself. The farmer sees this and doesn't bother to try and save the farm, instead he runs with his wife. They get away, the farm is destroyed. The cronnie rats out the rancher. And the Farmer moves away...

Gettin on the Bandwagon
I was reading a post on /x/ about some guy who used to work for the NYC transit system who aparently witnessed "Mole People" in some of the abandoned subway systems in New York. I read parts of the story and realized that I could sort of take some of the elements and make a Blair Witch/Paranormal Activity styled horror movie.
The premise of my idea would be like this. A subway worker finds a camera in an empty hallway near one of the oldest lines of the NYC system. He watches the video which depicts the journey of a couple of kids who went out looking for these Molemen. Well, glory be, they found the Molemen, and Glory be, the Molemen aren't very kind, savages if you will, the details are all really blurry. So this Subway worker gets a team together to go look for it, as it turns out some people in the Subway industry don't want tog et police and tabloids involved because they think that having "Molemen" in the transit system secretly killing people could possibly cause some panic. So, the top officials demand that they bring a small crew to investigate. So they do, group tension and all that great stuff, but curiousity gets them in situitions that cause them to give up hope after awhile, they start to think the camera is jsut a prank so that people could start specualting about the stupid idea of "Molemen". The main guy who found the camera has a heightened sense of curiousity, and he goes out alone. He finds an old map off one of the oldest workers in the system and starts tearing down areas that he though were abandoned and destroye.d He finds unthinkable things, then he stumbles upon the "Molemen" palace. Something similiar to what OLD New York looked like in Futurama. Well, mister I'm so fucknig curious get's himself captured and he finds the kids aswell. Some of them just so happen to be dead. Yea typical, but hey, we need death. But the "Molemen" turn out to be fucking crazy lunatics who resent the roles of everyday society and created a secret society of their own in this underworld. to say the least, they're fucking retarded. So somehow the camera guy escapes in an epic fashion, gets out of the tunnels, and gets to the ground level.
It ends with him sending the tape to every newspaper in the city. Have it end on that.
I know it all sounds cliche. But I think there is a way to make such a movie enjoyable and feel real. That story to me felt very real, the narrative would be simple. And the thing lacking in the film industry are films about possible REAL things and exploring them. Paranormal Activity was a stupid film and only stupid people thought it was great. Blair Witch in my opinion was amazing because of how it emoted fear, it felt real, and when I first seen it I thought it was real. It made me hate camping to such an unbelievable degree. But the thing that made it real was exploring an uknown world and meeting uknown beasts. Molemen are legends of folklore, but they're reasonable folklore tales because it's eeasy to understand why someone would live underground, and it's easy to find a place to do it in the scattered tunnels of the subway system.
But hey, My ideas have failed before. This might just be another thing i hang on the shelf for myself to think about.

The Wandering Jew
I've decided to right a novel. It's about the Wandering Jew mentioned in Christian folklore.
Here is a rough synopsis I wrote out in an msn conversation. I'm definetly going to work in this more. Since it is folk-lore, I can make up some crazy shit for it.
He aparently spat on jesus during the crucifix and was hexxed to wander the earth until the second coming of christ.
I plan to write it as if I were him. I'd be traveling, not working but stealing, and I am unable to die because of my hex. I do not age. But no matter who I try and love, i know that they will die in my existance and I will have to suffer.
So I go through life, living off of nature. traveling, looking for a way to spend my time tell christ comes back to clusterfuck the earth. But while on my journey I become deeply religious by seeing various events. I turn into a preacher, and then I travel the world preeching, and then people try to kill me. They fail, and my secret gets out that I'm the hexxed jew.
I go into Exile, and wait, praising jesus. i watch as sociery goes into a downfall, people stop caring about religion, they think death is inevitable and that heaven doesn't exist. In the end I'm the only one left to believe in Jesus. and when he comes back. He forgives me.

After School
Time to put the plan out on paper!
So, things have changed from my original plan which I laid out before christmas. The plan was to mvoe in with Alex after School and start working on scripts and such. But things have changed and stuff has become complicated.
So new plan after Graduation-Move back to G.P to chill and live off free rent for 2 months and finish 2 scripts.(Hopefully I'll have The Getaway Driver done by then.. Sigh) Then move back to Vancouver. Get full time job working something exciting(NOT COOKING) and make decent money(15$ an hour?). Work for a year and save up enough to go to holywood for a month in order to do some mass pitching. Hopefully have 6 feature scripts done by then. I'd fucking love to be a Cab Driver or have some kind of position where I drive a bunch. i love traveling, even if it a couple blocks.
And this vacation is also too go to 2 graduations on my beloved cousins. And to see my cat. and to paint copious amounts of trains. And to see the mother, the brother, and all the old friends.
Other updates on the old life of Cody Bisson-I'm coommited to painting again. It makes me happy and I enjoy being happy. Unfortunatly I think I have Bed bugs. Which blows menanites.

How To Be A Hipster
I didn't write all of this, found it on /r9k/ and thought it should be shared with the community.
Hipsters live a lifestyle that is purportedly against the mainstream culture and are typically in their teens to late twenties. A hipster can be identified by his/her choices of clothing, music, coffee shop, home decor, and even vocabulary. The tendency is to be steeped in "indie" culture and to dress in a "bohemian" style
1. The key most important thing to being a hipster is having a strong sense of ironic and sarcastic humor. when asked a question, refuse to answer directly, and instead answer with an obvious lie. [for example: (while in a movie theater. something cool just happened onscreen) "oh my god, that was so cool. did you see that?" "no, i paid 8 dollars to come here and stare at the ceiling."] in answering, you can choose whether or not to use a sarcastic tone. but please note that when you don't use a sarcastic tone while saying something sarcastically, the recipient of your sarcasm can mistake your sarcasm for honesty.
2. Knowledge of good music is crucial to becoming a true hipster. If you are into any mainstream music at the current time (ex:Flo Rida, Rihanna, Akon, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, etc.) throw it all away. Don't even donate it. (you can, however listen to mainstream music with an ironic sense without actually enjoying it. this is much alike to watching crappy old cartoons just to laugh at the crappiness of it.)
3. Now that you know that listening to (and enjoying) mainstream music is the worst thing you can do to yourself as a hipster, you can go on to independent music which is what all real hipsters listen to. The artists and groups are endless. (one good way to decipher whether or not an artist is Hipster, is for you to like them, and for your non-Hipster friends to have never heard of them.) Hipster artists of note include Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Belle & Sebastian, Jens Lekman, Neutral Milk Hotel, Klaxons, Cut Copy, Neon Neon, Margot & The Nuclear So and Sos, and King Khan and the Shrines. Music blogs like Gorilla vs. Bear, and Stereogum may help you with this. Meeting people who are already into these bands will help you as well. Perhaps the most popular hipster music website is pitchforkmedia.com. If they give an album a good rating, it must be quite hip.
4. Namedrop often. Talk about all the obscure bands you like that nobody you know has heard of. When your friends talk about a band you're unfamiliar with, just say you've heard of them but not actually heard them. Look them up the next time you have a chance to. It'll give you more cred.
5. Insult a lot of bands. If you love everything you'll seem like a fanatic. Make sure to give off a vibe that you are too cool and elite for a lot of bands.
6. Remember to use perhaps the most important hipster line: "I liked them before they were cool."
7. In addition, if you would like to seem more educated and elite there is the key phrase " I liked their first Ep, but pretty much after that i never got into them."
8. Fashion is just about as important as your music taste is. Generally, people assume hipsters to shop in thrift stores in attempt to looking vintage. This is really not the case to being a true hipster. The classic "Skinny Jean" is essential to looking hip. Hipsters love ironic eyewear such as shuttershades, oversized plastic framed glasses, Buddy Holly glasses, nerd glasses, and for the ones who can afford it authentic Ray Ban Wayfarers of all the colors of the rainbow. Some of the hipsters wear eyeglasses even though they have 20/20 vision! Guy hipsters actually probably wear skinny jeans more than the girls. Basically, the tighter, the better. Now tops aren't as big of an ordeal as pants are. Ironic tees, plaid shirts, berets, large flower headbands, neon nail polish, bird necklaces, gingham, plaid, checkered, vintage floral cardigan sweaters, fit hoodies, patterned and colorful leggings are all part of the hipster phenomena, especially when they layer/wear them all together without matching exactly. But make sure your pants are tight. Urban Outfitters,H&M and American Apparel are good places to start. ASOS also has many hip pieces. For inspiration check out Lookbook [www.lookbook.nu] or CobraSnake.
9. Food. All you really need to know about this is that eating meat isn't exactly popular with the hipster culture. Fruit, coffee, oriental food, etc are all hip foods. Technically, they are all a bunch of foodies and love making gourmet meals. You can't really go wrong with lunch from Whole Foods. Many hipsters tend to be vegetarian or vegan.
10. It takes a brave hipster to start dancing. In fact, if you want to spot a hipster, just turn around the next time you are at a show and see them standing in the back discussing Stella or PBR in a can. Sometimes, if the music and setting is right, you will witness Hipsters engaging in dance movements. Hipster dancing, if done right, does not use so much of the hips as it does the upper body and arms. Lots of swinging your head back and forth. Remember to only do this if you are not humiliated easy. Although you will rarely see hipsters dancing at shows, they tend to enjoy separate dance parties where they can dance to an array of more upbeat hipster dance music
11. Female hipsters love to use Tumblr, Blogspot or Wordpress taking photos with their Holga cameras of cross-processed and "dreamy-like" pictures of themselves in a field, by the ocean, in forests, in their hipster rooms. Usually it is to express their desire for beautiful and soft vintage things that is reflected in their photography. A lot of them have pictures of their feet for some odd reason. If you know of a hipster girl that knows the terms "re-blog" or "follow me on blogspot" then that's definitely one of the indicators of a female hipster.
12. Denial. Hipsters will never call themselves hipsters. On the contrary, they tend to deny their "hipster-ness" at each possible turn. In addition, they will make a point of chastising other people for being hipsters. Denial is one of the most important roles of a hipster.
This is pertty truthful. But at the same time being a Hipster is pretty dense.

Story about a whore
HER NAME IS CRYSTAL
BILL MASERTON(mid 20's) is a simple lonely man working as a welder in Long Beach California decides to pick up a pretty little prostitute one night. This is Bill's first sexual experience, he is a bit nervous and confused by it all. So he picks up CRYSTAL, the first thing he does is asks her name. Which throws her off because a question like that has never been asked. So Bill takes Crystal to his house, again Crystal is confused by the nature of all of it but she goes along with it. Bill is awkward about the whole thing, after sex he asks her if she needs a ride home. Again a stupid question to ask a prostitute. But as it turns out Crystal lives in a motel. Bill finds this absurd and offers to share his house with her. Crystal is grateful but she finds it too risky. The next day Bill goes to work. He discusses what he did last night to his only friend DAVIE. Davie knows the girl, apparently she is only 17. Bill stops in his tracks. He had sex with someone underaged in a city with some of the harshest sex offender laws out there. Bill immediately feels guilty, but then he thinks about it. He kind of wants to save this girl, he doesn't think it's right that shes doing this. After work Bill scouts down Crystal. He finds her roaming the beach looking for work. Bill manages to get her into his car by offering to have sex with her. He lectures her and finds out that she is only doing this for school. Bill finds this absolutely absurd. He takes her home, and offers her his spare room. Crystal accepts, saying that she's never been treated this way. And despite it being odd, she needs a place to stay.Bill thinks this girl could do more with her life. So he starts looking for a job for her while shes out on the streets. While doing so he meets her pimp, MCPHERSON, the biggest baddest pimp in all of Los Angeles County. Crystal told McPherson that she moved into some guys house. And he wanted to make sure Bill isn't some psycho who would try and kill her in the future. In bills state of nervousness, he proclaims that he is her uncle and he is going to make sure she has someone where to live from now on. McPherson falls for it, but if anything goes down then McPherson is going to have to slap a bitch and kill a Welder. That night is game night, Bill invites Davie over and they play Monopoly together. Crystal comes home after getting abused, in tears she runs to her room and proclaims that she was nearly beaten before McPherson intervened. Bill shows sympathy for her and once again reminds her that she is got to get out of the business. Crystal proclaims the fact that she knows she needs to get out. But she can't until she gets enough money for school. Bill understands to a degree, and to cheer her up she is invited to the game of Monopoly. As it turns out Crystal is pretty smart and charming. And Bill is sort of attracted to her.The next day Bill starts to spread the word about Crystal to his co-workers. Once again we find that he is pretty awkward and nobody really enjoys his company because of that. But he gets Crystal some customers, and she goes to town. She starts doing it at his house, which makes things awkward since Bill is starting to grow to enjoy her company. Meanwhile McPherson starts to grow concern. Her numbers have grown, but he thinks that Bill is going to try and take her away from him. And Crystal has the potential to be a bottom bitch(One who gets the more expensive cliental.) He also has plans for expanding into the escort business and into the call service. Crystal would excel at both. One day Bill invites her to do some normal people stuff. They go clothes shopping. They check out schools. As it turns out she wants to be a veterinarian. And with the prostitution gig she has managed to save up enough for 2 years of tuition. And she was home schooled and graduated when she was 15. But she didn't like her mom at all and always wanted to explore her sexuality, especially after being sheltered most of her life. So she met McPherson at a party, and one thing led to another. Bill begins to grow more and more attracted to her, since his story is sort of similiar. He was a really stupid kid through school. His father stopped talking to him at a young age because he didn't want to become a football player, and to his father football was everything. And his mother died early in his life. Bill never had very many friends, except for Davie. And he never had a girl in his life. While shopping Bill holds her hand, Crystal gets butterflies, and gets sort of nervous and sways away from the idea. The next night she leaves Bill in the night. She goes to work on the street. Bill wakes up to find that she has gone. He goes looking around to find out she isn't working the streets anymore. Bill decides to give up. He goes home for game night with Davie. He isn't happy, and Davie is kind of disappointed about him falling for a 17 year old prostitute. Bill doesn't care about her age, it was irrelevant. He just wants her to be safe. The next day Davie comes to bill with an add he found at a porn shop for an Escort service. Crystals name is on it. Bill schedules an appointment, and heads off to get ready. He tidies himself off, gives himself a shave. And gets a tuxedo. He buys a new(ish) car to impress her. He shows up to pick Crystal, and she says she can't be around him. She needs to continue working if she ever wants to go to school. Bill says he has the money, and he can do it. Then she brings up McPherson who doesn't want his most prized woman leaving the business. Bill gets an idea. He marches up to McPherson's pad and proclaims his love for that 17 year old prostitute. McPherson laughs in his face, nobody should fall in love with a prostitute, there soulless woman used for pleasuring men. Crystal hears this, she has heard it before. But this time, it has affected her, probably because Bill thinks otherwise of her. Crystal leaves the game herself, McPherson threatens her but Bill steps in and knocks him out. McPherson's men surround Bill. But Bill's noble action to hit McPherson changes his mind. McPherson proclaims that any man who's willing to love a Prostitute should do it anyway. He will find a new bitch, one that isn't of legal age. While Bill and Crystal leave she tells her that she is 18 in two weeks. They both smile and share there first one screen kiss. Two weeks later Davie, Crystal, Bill, and Crystals mother are having supper at a fancy restaurant. Crystal will be attending school soon, and she breaks down her relationship to her mom. Despite it all being rather crude and over the top she understands. And she is just happy that her daughter is making something of herself. Bill however, is just happy to have someone to call his own. And Davie brings out the monopoly later that night.

4chan inspiried this idea.
So i was just reading this post of 4chan about this guy who met a 17 year old prostitute and offered his couche for her so she could sleep somewhere besides the streets. And with this idea i found a premise for an amazing comedy idea. First off there is an episode of King Of The Hill which revolves around Hank defending a prostitute who lives at his house for a unmentioned sum of money. but jesus. The comedic amount is bursting out of this idea like some kind of ...bursting idea!
I'm gonna think about it. i know the setup from that thread. and all the conflict is there. The structure. The arch. The theme. it is all there. Why hasn;t a movie been made from this subject matter yet? Like a Seth Rogen actor vehicle or some shit. Damnit. Once I slightly sober Up ill see what I can do.

Movies of the decade
I'm being cool and making my top twenty list. Sure, this might be the most biase list ever made. But this is a list I have put together, and I'm god damn proud of its potential!
20.The Wrestler-Mickey Rourke is by far an extrordinary character.. I'm actually quite angered that he got robbed for best actor for it. The story itself is also pretty neat, I've never seen the world of wrestling. And thats what a movie should do. Introduce you to a world you are unfamiliar with.
19.Requiem for a dream- Depressing as hell, well acted. Jared Leto is greaaat. And the storylines are all enjoyable in there own way. The only thing i disliked is the fact that the ending is so bleak that we don't really learn anything that we don't already know. But props to the writer and Aronofsky for making characters that we enjoyed at the begining. Even if they are drug addicts.
18.Dawn Of The Dead-I first seen the movie on pay per view at 1 a.m while i was home alone. After viewing(and not haven't watched a zombie movie before.) I was changed. I couldn't sleep, i kept thinking someone was gonna bust through my door and nibble on me. So I looked out the picture window at the cold empty street, for 3 hours before I passed out. Only a handful of movies can have that type of affect on people.
17.The Departed-Jack nicholson is fucking crazy. i love it. As for the random deaths, not really feeling all of it. It had so much potential, but I guess they did what they did. and the end result is good. The only thing that stuck with me was when Jack's character was talking to the two hookers..
16.Cloverfield-Yall can hate and debate but the movie is one of my favorites. I personally enjoy the fact that it was done with the shakey cam effect. It made me feel like I was in the situition personally. I often imagine I am stuck in a city with a giant (baby) monster and I'm looking for a place to hide, or for someone who I think would be in distress.
15.Wall-e I remember watching this with Jenise at her house on one of our movie days. I find this movie oh so touching, and oh so realistic to what will probably happen in the future. I gotta buy this movie damnit.
14.Finding Nemo-Fishes are funny. And heroic. And colorful. I watched this movie so many times I don't even have anything to say about it anymore. But it always brings a smile to my face.
13.Snatch- Guy ritchies best film. And one of my favorite comedy's. So many memorable moments and characters. I lvoe the fact that it all started because someone wanted a new Caravan. sometimes when i get drunk I like to talk like a pikey.
12.King Kong-The might king of the jungle. Made to fuck up T-Rex's and climb up skyscrapers. I think I like this movie so much jsut because of the amazing action set pieces. and Jack Black does a pretty good serious actor role in it.
11.Ratauille-A lovely movie. Something that I was pleasantly suprised by. I don't really have anything to add. Unfortunatly I've only seen it once.:(
10.City Of God-When I first seen it, I didn't expect very much. But everything about it was amazing. The characters, the way they intertwined, the fact that the movie is more about the actual city then about the people involved in the plot.(Think about it.)
9.Black Hawk Down- The only war movie that made me think about the harshness of war. It all looked and felt real. And at some point it was real. And the two snipers who went to protect the second chopper that went down were god damn heros.
8.The Dark Knight-This is what happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force. I seen it twice in theaters. And several times on dvd and on the movie channels. Still that line never gets old. Along with everything else Heath ledger/Joke says.
7.V for Vendetta-I will always remember the 5th of November. The gunpower the treason the plot. I bought this movie, the day it came out. I will watch it every 5th of November until I see that its theme becomes irrelevant...
6.District 9-Fooking fook, what a good fooking movie. Since its release I've seen it 5-6 times. Each time I grow more and more attached. I'm glad that vfs made it too. Gives a nice glimmer of hope for the young minds in this school.
5.Crash- I didn't expect it to be anything amazing when I first bought it for 5$ at a CDPLUS. But oh man, racism at its finest. Racist people become good hearted samaritines(sp?) and people who weren't racist conform to there inner demon. and somebody hits a chinamen.
4.Cowboy Bebop the movie-It is my favorite animated feature for two reasons. You have a god like antagonists, and a uber badass protagonist. And it is jsut so amazing how these two characters reflect each other in so many ways. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in sci fi, anime, or great story telling.
3.Pans Labyrinth-Fairy tales with sad endings are my favorite kind. And I must say, they built up one of the finest antagonists around. This movie will be one of those rare gems that will be remembered until the next coming of christ.
2.Return of the king-Epic movie making, everyone already knows why this movie is here... So yea, I loved it. First movie I seen by myself in the theaters. i will always remember it.
1.No Country For Old Men- I called it, I've been calling it all my life. No country is a movie which at first I didn't completely understand. It took several viewings, each one I'd enjoy it even more. The main reason it is on the top of the list is because the characters are so influental to my own writing. And the setting, and the dialogue, and cinematography.

Pineapples
Haven't dropped by the ol blog in awhile, despite the fact that I've been on my computer for most of my vacation. So here is an update on life and general stuff-
I've been in saskatoon since the 15th and I leave on the 5th. It has been a pretty nice vacation. I've been resting and relaxing, playing lots of WoW, eating delicious home cooked meals, and watching plenty of TV and Film. Which has inspired me to go further with The Getaway Driver. I'm at page 38 and I know where I'm going and it's lots of fun. I bought a bunch of movies for dirt cheap on boxing day, and got 3 xbox games for christmas. I bought Yes man, Wizard of Oz, Unforgiven, The Dark Knight, and Rock n Rolla. I seen dozens of others during my stay but I watched Zombieland in the cheap theatre and I enjoyed it alot more the second time around. Same with District 9.
I'm also pretty psyched to go back, the upcoming year will be a busy one for sure. I will hopefully be getting my own place with Alex in Surrey. Then I have 2 graduations to go to. And I have to move all my shit from G.P to Vancouver. And then I really wanna go back to regina for a week to hang out with family. Then my dad might come visit vancouver in the summer, same with my mom. And hopefully I can convince my mom and Walter to let me use there truck to move my shit down there along with Alexs crap.
But back to what I need to do once I get back to vancouver, first step is to go shopping and buy actual food. Then steal a tap and pull off my scam so I can get paint and get back into the graffiti business. Then I must get a job and make some money. Luckily the next term I'm well prepared for with my feature ideas and my other various classes which I all have ideas for. Cant wait to do Urban night golf as a web series. I also want to start biking more once I get back. Even if it does rain or snow I wanna be out biking atleast once a week. i wanna see more of the city.
I'll update this tommorow to recap my life over the last decade as vividly as possible.
