I watched 3 movies on my list over the weekend, 500 days of summer, groundhog day, and most of silence of the lambs. I'd say it was spent wisely. But today,, i watched most of the entourage season 3. I need to watch the first and second season now, and the rest of the third, and well every other season. It will take awhile to catch up:(
But this week we have a fuckton of homework. I have to read 3 scripts, thats 90 pages(which is difficult for me...) by wednesday. Then a 4 page treatment for documentary which is going to be difficult because i must discuss a story that hasn't happened yet...
Next week, sketch class I have to work with chava which will be interesting, and write some political jokes. next week i got to get up to page 75 on the old treatment. Thats 24 more thne what I have now. Fuck... But I expect to be done with this fucking feature by the end of the term no matter what. And to be honest it seems like a workable and cheap idea to film. As for port short i'm really sure my killer sofa sketch will serve as a decent and workable idea. Its got the funny, its got the horror/thriller, and it mocks awkward and strange fears.
As for life, my roomates are pissing me off. The three mexicans are being lazy wankers, they havent done the dishes in a week and a half now, although i reminded them a few times. Unfortunatly I cant move out tell the end of november. So i'll have to put up with these lazy assholes tell then, but we get this new roomie come october and she seems like the type of person that will put her foot down to such a situition. As for me i'm more passive, and i only tell the landlord(who lives with us, one of the lazy mexicans) about the issue, he keeps pulling it back and its getting annoying. But oh well, atleast the guy i share my room with is cool with me staying up late.
Also my birfday is next monday. I expect to do something awesome friday, then I have some family coming over on saturday and I will hang out with them. Then on monday back to school. And hopefully I can sneak in my feature pages, and my sketch with chava, and the jokes, and the possibility of rewriting my shorts.

Posting my love
-Today I went to the lab, did 3 pages in about 45 minutes. Then came home and reflected onto something. I have 45 pages done. And I still have a weekend to spend doing anything I want. Now I look at some of the other people who are in my class and witness that they only have 20 some pages at the time. And atleast 45 needs to be done by monday. Jesus its going to be stressfull for them. But thing that bothers me about this is that they have had the last 2 weeks to work on it. Why start on the day before deadline? Is that what you're going to do when it comes to a career? If you are going to a film school for writing it shouldn't be a difficult task to write, or else why would you have came.
I'm sure my current screenplay isn't flawless, but that doesn't matter. I'm not incredibly attached to it anyway. To be honest its one of my least favorite stories. But its easy to write because I might actually enjoy doing this.

Failed post 2
Once you die your conscience might not be able to handle it. Your conscience will then create its own universe were you are reborn without knowing anything you previously knew. You will be created into the animal or thing you cared/disliked the most. Say I hate paris hilton, if I was a great person in life then I will become her in my next life, or a new her. And if I was homeless, and I wanted to become a turtle that lives for a century and its my favorite animal, then i will become that.

My Movie Ideas.
I was hit in the face with the fact that every movie idea ive splurted out has a tragic ending. I shall demonstrate.
Porn star gets aids-She finds love through out the story, but in the end she dies.
Wasting the world-A son and his father hide from a major mob boss. The father dies after the son leaves him, but the mtoher who is related to the mob bos wants to see her son. They eventually find him in russia, and well he realizes he can never escape her grasp, and he cant live with the guilt that he killed his dad. So he kills both his mom the mob boss and himself..
Whale Story-About a guy who is chasing a mythical whale that killed his father, in the end he finds out he was huting the whales offspring during his endevour, and the whales offspring gets killed, and the mommy whale takes her wrath, killing most of the crew and the captain gets rescued. He finds the dead offspring beached on the shore, and realizes he is no better then them after what he did.
Challenging the illusion-They try to battle society and try and get there point across that graffiti needs to coexist, but they get no respect in the end, and have to leave the city in order to stay safe, and everything they did during the movie is diminished shortly after it was done, except one.
World War 3-Although this one is sort of starting on the shit note and it works to the high note of america winning the war and getting back the country, but at the cost of such a dephicite that the entire country will need to reboot.
In the life of a zombie-A long distance motorcrosser with a camera with a nearly endless battery/film life is turned into a zombie. In the end he dies, but some humans get the camera, and they get ambushed by humans.
Changed Subjects-A up and coming glorified delivery boy gets in an accident with a student, the student sues him and it ruins his life. In the end the student dies from a tumor and the Delivery guy goes to the funeral to officially apoligize since he never reallly did it, even though the student helped him after the delivery boy tried to kill himself because he lsot everything. And the student helped him atleast get a job and get his girlfriend back..
The lost island-Its about some mythical race of people who live on some secluded island, and this one young man thinks he seen an island so he tries to get to the island. No one is aloud to touch the ocean, and he does, and he manages to get to the island only to die moments before getting there in a sea storm. His story is told throughout the tribe on the island to scare there world into thinknig the ocean is terrible. They died off 4000 years later from disease and famine.
Solomn History-A sadistic man finds his wife cheating on a gay guy(Its a misconception, he was just aploligizing for a past incident.) In the end the sadistic man is charge with vehiclular homicide after finding out that the man he was chasing was getting married to a gay man and was merely telling the sadistic mans wife that he was doing so. He feels guilt, but he cant do much aboot it now.
Rahz-Its kind of like a LOTR story about this city in a deep valley that holds the vault that is magicly sealed, behind the vault sits a massive army of dark creatures that were conjured by a past sorcerer, but he was defeated by a group of heros who had to sacrifice themselves in order to protect the sorcerer and the army from reaching the earth again. But when a new army led by a total asshat crushes the city that protects the vault and it releases the contents of the vault, the deal was that the heros sacrificed there power into the vault, they were technically frozen with those dark demons, so if the vault were ever to be broken then they could battle the demons back to the vault and lock it. The heros are unfrozen, but in the end they sacrifice themselves again to lock up the demons.
Alien Invasion-A group of survivors from an alien attack end up trying to escape the planet in an alien aircraft only to be taken over by the mtoher ship, the humans manage to kill themselves, aswell as the mtohership in the end.
A tale of Two islands-5 bounty hunters have to get a wealthy business man from a utopian city, but the only way for them tog et there is byway of the islands twin, which is the shithole/garbage dump/crime filled ghetto of the other island. In the end the 5 bounty hunters end up not getting the man and they get kicked out of the shit city for causing a rukus. But they all worked together to get to this end result, since they were all competitors.
The liqour clerk-A liqour clerk gets fed up with getting robbed so he holds up a couple of hoodlums who were trying to rob him. In the end he gets arrested and trialed for homicide after he killed one of the people he held up.
White streets-A arogant cop gets his wife kkidnapped, he gets sent on a wild goose chase into the drug underworld to take down the man who he thinks kidnapped his wife, in the end he is told that he took down the wrong person, the person who actually kidnapped his wife was the person who told him it was the person he killed. Who was competition for the drug trade in the city. In the end his wife and kid is dead, and he demands to take wrath upon the citys underworld for what they took from him.
Wolves-A family ends up in a parallel universe where thye are hunted by wolves. They need to exits through a protal by the end of the last night, but while doing it the father looses his wife and his son. And a different story about someone who lsot there family 20 years ago and sitll believes there husband lived in the parallel un iverse is happening. The new family is helped by the man who lived in that universe for 20 years, in the end he sacrifices himself in order for them to get out of the portal. The father has lsot his daught and wife, so its also a tragidy for him.
Jesus that took awhile, if anyone reads this then thanks, give feedback, although these don't reveal alot of plot.

Life At The Moment.
So ive decided to write down my life at the present time to understand my situitions for the future.
BADS:
-My roomate last month was this reallly flamboyantly gay french guy. My present roomate is another flamboyantly gay mexican guy. And personally ive had enough with sharing my room with these creepy and incredibly confused individuals.
-I plan to move out at the end of october, the issue is that I have no furniture so i have to find a funrished room that I don't have to share. My expectations are normal, but still rather high. I need wireless internet, a washer/dryer, furnished bedroom(I only really need a bed, it could be sitting on the floor and id be fine.) It needs to be walking distance to school or a skytrain ride to school aslong as the rent and the skytrain month pass doesn't exceed my rather slim budget, and I need the roomate count to be less then 4. And they must be working/students/people who aren't always chillen at home being lazy and not doing anything for anyone, and it mgiht be a bit much to ask that they aren't illegal immigrants.
-My landlord who lives on the sofa in the living room said there might be bed bugs in the living room. This is another factor the already vast list of reasons i need to move out. The thing is I have the biggest fear of bugs for some reason. Last night I had a massive jolt of fear when i felt something against my leg. I freaked out only to realize it was a loose thread from my blanket.
-School has become busier then I thought, so I cannot get a job at this time, and my financial situition will still be a stressful one. I really wished I saved more for school. But I wanted to get out of grande prairie so badly that I overlooked my actual financial situations and just jumped right into school. School was definetly worth attending so far, i'm convinved that I can get somewere in this business. And i'm convinced that this was the right time to do it in my life... My mom told me today that I was going to get money from my dad for child support soon. 150$ a month, which will help alot combined with my moms already 100$ a month. And since she still owes me 150$ for this month I will have the potential to pay off my credit card and put 100$ or so in my bank account.
-I have very few dollars to spend in october, so im going to try my best to be the best penny pincher ever. Barely any fast food, barely any drinking, and barely any useless shit that I really don't need(Like movie rentals, buying video games foor my failing Xbox. Etc). I have enough saved up for food and stuff during the month of october, in november i expect to get a beautiful check from the government which will give me some money to let off my worry for a little while and pay off the rest of my tuition. But I will have to rent on my credit card for october and November(I won't get the cheque right away.) and damage deposit which I will recieve back and can put into a new place. But my mom has commited to helping me with that at all costs. Since she is somewhat responsible for taking care of me still since I personally think i deserve some help with situition since i'm only 18 and living on my own and going to school with barely anything in my name.
-It would be really awesome if i had furniture, if my mom or any family mmembers actually decided to move out lameass saskatchewen and I could contact them for some supplies to get my own one bedroom place where i could rent out the bedroom and i could live in the living room for cheap(Seen a decent amount of places like this for only 500$, that would be 250$ a month!) The only problem about these places is i have shit all, and my family has all this shit they never really use. But if I were to move into a place in lets say, Saskatoon, i'm sure i could get atleast a free sofa from the family. I don't consider this bumming stuff off people, since they aren't using it anyway. I consider this helpful for both of us. Since my mom has a shitload of furniture that is sitting somewere form when we used to lvie in regina. And i find it highly unbelievable that we threw it all out. And i don't really need the bed in my old room back home at the moment anyway. I mean what the fuck, why wasn't moving all my shit here on the original agenda??
-Xbox 360, the piece of shit got the RROD a few months back,, i put some pennies in it..she worked fine up until three days ago. Then she died again. I cleaned everything inside today and now its working again. But for how much longer? Thanks alot you piece of shit xbox, if you die then i will have to watch movies on this laptop and it makes it icnredibly distracting and looses some of the entertainment value.

-I'm still ontop of most of my homework. I managed to write atleast 10 pages of my feature today after cutting a major chunk out of it for revision. The teachers advised to do that in story editing but i thought. "Why should I wait tell then when i already know what needs to be changed." So yea i got that down. I need a new port short idea but I will write some stuff down and magicly create soemthing out of the blue. And my other port short needs a little tweeking then it will be worthy of workshopping. I'm proud of my Sketch for next week, Especially after watching a ton of sketch a couple minutes ago I came to realize that alot of sketch(Even from the funniest of comedians) is really shitty and drawn out. As for what I wrote the other day, its funny from the first line. But we shall see about how it does. Documentary will be sort of a gong show tommorow since my one pager needed to be 2 pages but the teacher never really stated as to what needs to go on both pages, I made it one page simply because all the one pagers i read were of the finished product, i made mine a synopsis of what has yet to happen in the story but simply of what the story is trying to prove. But I have a feeling its not going to be what was specified, but I could care less about documentary, since its not really my cup of tea.
-I got a new comforter for the upcoming winter. Its comfy and warm, so far its proven to be a wise purchase(Only costed 20$!)
-I'm hoping that the 32's show up for our little class mingle tommorow since I would really like to meet some of them outside of school, since at times it seems pedestrian since everyone tends to keep to there own classes. And some of the students look interesting, and i'm always down for networking.
-I started playing WoW again. I find this to be a positive because now i wont go outside as often and spend money on shit I don't need and isntead I will interact with some old friends from back home. Sure WoW is pretty pathetic, but its an icnredible time waster. And you kind of have something to brag about if you play it long enough. You have stories that only another WoWer would understand, and because of this you will have hours of covnersation. Although it will be incredibly nerdy.
-I got a library card today, I found the library's stash of movies and rented some decent names that I will get to cross off my movie lsit in the upcoming week. They include-Back To the future 2, and One flew over the cukus nest. I also got indiana jones and the temple of doom, the boondocks season 1, and Chris farley Best of SNL.
-I'm starting to get mroe familiar with what to cook to stay healthy, although I can feel that I need to improve my health I think i'm starting to get on track with how to fulfill that goal. Infact last week i cooked several actual meals! Plain Burgers(Just how i like them) and boiled vegatables. I have some tacos set up, which I always like to expand into two meals. and I have plenty of other meal ideas in the making. One of which i look forward to making is fried garlic potatoes. The oens granny used to make were epic.

And some of the students look interesting, and i'm always down for networking.
-I started playing WoW again. I find this to be a positive because now i wont go outside as often and spend money on shit I don't need and isntead I will interact with some old friends from back home. Sure WoW is pretty pathetic, but its an icnredible time waster. And you kind of have something to brag about if you play it long enough. You have stories that only another WoWer would understand, and because of this you will have hours of covnersation. Although it will be incredibly nerdy.
-I got a library card today, I found the library's stash of movies and rented some decent names that I will get to cross off my movie lsit in the upcoming week. They include-Back To the future 2, and One flew over the cukus nest. I also got indiana jones and the temple of doom, the boondocks season 1, and Chris farley Best of SNL.
-I'm starting to get mroe familiar with what to cook to stay healthy, although I can feel that I need to improve my health I think i'm starting to get on track with how to fulfill that goal. Infact last week i cooked several actual meals! Plain Burgers(Just how i like them) and boiled vegatables. I have some tacos set up, which I always like to expand into two meals. and I have plenty of other meal ideas in the making. One of which i look forward to making is fried garlic potatoes. The oens granny used to make were epic.
So yea, things I need to sort out-Money stuff(Lottery? Sell my bike maybe?)-Xbox issues(Pray it works?) Housing Issues(Which might not be so difficult after a quick search on craiglist.) and my diet, which will take awhile to get ussed to since ive been living off fast food since i graduated.

Detroit Rock City!
Detroit Rock City(1999) Its rating on IMDB is 6.4/10. I rated it a 10. Here is why.
First off this movie was my first movie that i actually watched twice in a night. It was in 2000ish and I was at my dads house, it was so fun that it deserved to go back in the vcr. I bought it in 05, ive watched it on dvd about 30 times. Each time I love it more and more. Here is why
-Its a really original idea, and very well written. The character are all incredibly memorable. The archs of everyone is well pulled off. The music is amazing. The satire references are awesome(It battles high school, Disco, religious fanatics,and douchebags and them getting what they deserve..) The ending is also amazing, the relationships are amuzing but they do the job. The cameos are pretty rad now that i'm older and I can recognize the stars. The acting is pretty decent. The pacing is great, the comedy is well timed. The structure is easily visable(Call to adventure-getting tickets for the show-end of act 1 they get on the road-all is lost point-Everyone pretty much gets what they needed, but the climax they get there tickets. And go to the show. Resolution- they go to the show, jam catches a drum stick everyone is all hyped and such.)
I don't know why this movie has such a low rating, I have yet to find a person who disliked it.

Homework
Port short-3, im done 2..
Sketch comedy-1, just got it today.
feature film- 15 to 30 pages by monday, i'm closing in on page 10.
Documentary-I got a couple false ideas that I think willl work on the fly.
What I plan to do. Write the last port short and sketch comedy tommorow, write the rest of my feature film on saturday, print off everything/send everything on sunday.

Constant ideas
I had this idea kicking around since I worked in a grocery store called Saveon Foods. While working in this grocery store I met a guy name charlie who had alot of similiar interests as me. He was a pretty cool guy to bounce movies off of. But one day I realized he had alot of intelligence about the army. I told him he should join the army but he said he was to overweight. And a too lazy. So i came up with this story, as him asthe protagonist. In this story I realized I could legally film the entire thing with nothing but my friends as cast members as me as a director/writer. The only thing we would need is some simple equipment. Here is my synopsis in a nutshell.
Charlie is a 23 year old going no were with life. He works in a grocery store and his father is forcing him to join the army. But he has a indifference about the army, and his father altogether. But he has been wondering through life with no goals up until this night that changes it all.
Charlie is working with his best friend Evan who is a womanizer. Evan tells him about a party at Shauns house tonight and he should go. And that he should ask out Jennifer to a rela date. So charlie does ask Jennifer out to a supper and movie, Jennifer is excited, they plan to go at 8. Well Charlie gets home to find out that his father has found out thar he hasn't even submited his application into the army. His father threatens to kick him out by the end of the week unless he applies. Charlie says he will think about it. His father gets pissed and forces him on the laptop to do it, Charlie gets pissed off and leaves on foot. He walks along the train tracks when Ken coems out and tells him to fuck off, Ken being a friend of his who does graffiti on the trian is chilling on a hill so Charlie goes and hangs with him. Charlie explains his situition, Ken replies with some philosophical message about His own mentality on the world, which is pretty laid back and care free. Ken is drinking a bit and decided to go down to the train tracks to paint a train when he slips and smashes his hand on a glass bottle. Charlie rushes him to the hopsital for stiches in Kens truck. After the operation Charlie looks at his watch to see its 9:30 and realizes he missed the date with Jennifer, He freaks out and steals Kens truck and forces him to walk back to the tracks were he will meet him later, the tracks are 4 kilometers away(What a dick..) Charlie goes to the theatre to see that Jennifer isn't there. He goes to her house and she rips on him for being pathetic and a lonely loser. He Tries to defend himself, But jennifer shuts the door on him. Charlie goes back to the track to see Evan and Ken sitting by the tracks. Charlie apoligizes for stealing his car, he says he was dumped with a girl he wasnt even dating, shit sucked. Ken forgives him, says they should head off to Shauns house for that party. Maybe jennifer will be there. Before they leave Ken runs into the trian yard as a new line is being pulled in and manages to get Evan and cahrlie involved while they paint the train. Unfortunatly they get rolled on by some motorcross bikers but Ken starts liping them off. They begin to leave when Charlie pushes the lippyness to far and the Bikers get offended and go back and try to fight Charlie. Ken defends him but he gets punched out. Then lights come on and they all ditch the train yard. They all get away to a long bridge that is close to Shauns house. They discuss how some guy they went to high school with jumped off the bridge because he wasn't getting anywere with life. They discuss how next year Ken is moving out to go to school in south eastern canada. Evan is going to take a masters degree in chemistry in the fall in edmonton. Yet charlie wiill continue with the confused life he has. Evan and Ken tell him not to jump off a bridge now. They get to the party to find the place packed. Evan is hittin on some chicks while at the party, Ken is sittin with some people drinknig and telling stories, and Charlie is talking to shaun about fall, which Shaun willl be moving out to edmonton and then start touring. Charlie says he will be doing very little in the fall. Charlie begins to drink more and more, getting more and more subtly drunk until Jennifer shows up at the party, Charlie tries to hit on her, she trys to elave, Ken trys to stop him along with evan. Charlie gets pissed and finally vents his built up anger about the his entire life on both Ken and Evan. They are both trying to restrain him, but Evan gets a broken nose, and Ken gets hit into a table and breaks it. Shaun tries to restrain Charlie, but he gets pissed and leaves. Jennifer leaves, disappointed in Charlie. Charlie walks back tot he bridge, the sun is rising. He has some bruises and is starting to throw up on the bridge. puking over the top of it. He Trys to climb over the railing of the bridgeto kill himself, but he chickens out. And gets another phone call from his dad(He recieved several phone calls from him during the night.) This Phone call is in retalition to a phone call he recieved from his dad during the party were he just fucking ripped on his dad for forcing him into the army. His dad now tells him to move out. Charlie gets pissed and decided to walk to his house. He shows up and then he fucking blows his anger out on him. Breaking shit, and he ends up kicking his dad in the balls. Charlie then takes his laptop and leaves towards to Evans house to apoligize. He finds Evan and Ken looking over the train yard together talking about there hopsital visit, Evan has a broken nose. Charlie apoligizes, to both of them. They understand as he had to vent his anger somehow, although his method was questionable. Charlie then tells them he is going to leave town, place hasnt brought anything of interest. Ken says he mgiht aswell leave, he has workers comp. Aparently he works as a security guard for the train yard, everyone is shocked. Evan says he is quiting the grocery store since he will be at school in a month and his nose is broken. Charlie thanks them, they leave, Charlie calls in to work saying he quits. He also phones jen, a phone call says he will see her again someday. And he is sorry for being a pussy and such.

Bike Ride
I went on a bike ride yesterday and I witnessed some things that I both HATE, LOVE and QUESTIONS THE MORALES OF SOCIETY.
-HATE-It took me 3 stops and 20 minutes to adjust my U bar bike lock in order for it to stop hiting my leg while pedaling. Fixed it by putting the straight bar BEHIND my seat.
HATE- I seen way too many tourists who need to learn how to use the bike paths. Please don't walk in the bike path. They have a walking path. Also don't pedal slowly side by side and wonder all voer the path. If you're a slow fuck keep to the right so us speed freaks can keep our momentum.
LOVE-I was behind this incredibly atractive brunette rollerblader for the longest time. She looked like Zooey Deschendal(sp?) who I have always loved. And well yea, she had everything.
LOVE-I think i seen Matthew McConaughey. He was hitting surrounded by this group of stupidly sexy women in bikinis. He was being his regular douchebag self...
HATE-While biking up the hill to my house I was nearly hit by some arrogant Asian guy in some Cliche BMW. Guy hit my back wheel and drove off.
QUESTIONS OF MORALITY-Seen what looked like a tortured squirrel tied to a tree.
QUESTIONS-A passed by a benched covered in broken beer bottles. But there wasn't any broken fragments on the ground or anywere else.
HATE-I Stopped halfway to adjust my bike lock. While stopped a tourist bus stopped by and i was briefed about a statue of a woman on a rock in the ocean and the fact that although it looks vaguely similiar to a MERMAID it is actually woman in a classic bathing suit and scuba flippers on her feet. But after the bus left a dozen or so tourists walked by and kept calling it a mermaid. This only pissed me off because I was just told atleast 3 times by the tourist bus that it was clearly not a mermaid. Although these other tourists did not hear this, I did. And well, yea, don't really know why I hated that.
QUESTIONS-I drove over a condom directly under the lions gate bridge. It stuck to my tire and I had to fling it off with a stick. Did it come from the bridge? Or from udnerneath it? Both those areas are odd for sexual intercourse.
LOVE-Seen a racoon, a Skunk, and a Squirel fight.
LOVE-2 senior Asians fishing under the bridge. They had matching hats and sat on those lobster catcher things. It looked so incredibly Asian. Clearly you will not see that anywere else in canada.
