At the current time it seems i'm going through a rough patch in my life, so here is somethings that I feel i should get off my chest so i can relax a bit.
-I can't get to sleep before 3 a.m.. I cant remember the last time i was awake at this house on my computer doing nothing productive. But simply widdling awya the hours until I felt like passing out. I think this is entirely because of my current diet which has been pathetic and I am really trying to make a change of that. But that leads to the problem with cooking in my apartment. If whoever reads this hasn;;t alreayd realized I have 5 roomates. 2 of which are never really around and I don't see them very often so they aren't the problem. One of them is alright, and the other two... Well lets just say they are getting on my nerves with there obvious ignorance. I'm the only person who seems to take out the trash. Or clean up anything for that matter. And these 2 faggots(they actually are gay.) have been very neglegent of the dishwashing system. They seem to think its ok to make dirty dishes then keep them in the sink until there is no more clean dishes. Then they will wait a couple days and decide to clean them. They did this once before. And they are starting it again. I warned them both about it. They posed as if thye were going to by cleaning a couple cups and filling this nearly moldy pan with water and soap. But that was 2 days ago. And that pan still sits with water in it in the sink. Along with all the bowls and spoons. Seriously....I'm getting a new roomie next week and if this new guy is-Ignorant, lazy, or/and bitchy then i'm gonna finally just give up on this accomodation. The only reason I stay is because its close to everything and the rent is decent and I get everything. The only problem is the lazy assholes that end up living here.
-Another problem is that I've slowly become a socialite. I don't make plans anymore because it seems everyone has something better to do. So I don't even bother. I stick to renting movies from the library, watching them, and watching tv, playing WoW, and typing non-sense on this laptop until these late hours. This leads me to my homesickness. Not only for G.P. But for regina. I've been missing Regina since I left there 5 or 6 years ago. Its for so many reasons. I had such awesome friends there. I knew the city so well that I enjoyed being a part of it for that reason of simply knowing it. It was close to all my family. If I could drive I could drive to saskatoon, calgary, winnipeg, and anything else inbetween in nearly the exact same time as it takes to get from g.p to anywere. And Well, the people. I miss so many faces from there. And it kills me that I can't really go back for a very long time and see them. Damnit to hell.
-To add to the sleeping problem I think i'm going to have to get addicted to coffee so I can have that cafiene crash. I'll start tommorow with Timmy's coffee.
-I dislike my current feature. Its not something that I enjoy writing because of its personal effect to my interests. My interests being graffiti and some of the characters seem to have begun to mirror people I have met in my life. And I don't really like that. But I think its a sellable script once it gets its kinks worked out. I just need to concentrate on whats the issues of it. I need to show it to someone who knows me best, someone who is also interested in the subject matter. I was thinking that it would be great to send it to BANKSY. But I have no way of doing that. It would also be my dream for Jared Leto to be in it. I think he would want to aswell because on his imdb profile it made it look like he greatly apreciates the art community. And he has played several socially unnacceptable roles in movies such as drug addicts and supporters of fight clubs... But I have a new script i'm working on that I quite enjoy. And another Idea that I think is really something fantastic and intersting that I'd like to pull out for the second feature for school. But we shall wait and see how that turns out.
-One of the things that i'm starting to realize is that I'm getting lazy with my work habits. I haven't done anything productive writing wise in over a week. And I have shit due tommorow. i hope this is jsut because of my poor eating habit at the moment and my odd sleeping pattern. i hope to start working on the food thing as soon as possible. I bought a bunch of healthy food today and I plan to start cooking actual meals again instead of microwaved stuff.
-I miss doing graffiti. Especially right now, last year this was one of my most productive times of the year. And this month this year I've only done 1 piece and nothing else. Its mostly because of the current weather. And my lack of paint. But its also a lack of ambition and I have no friends to go out with and do this. I was able to do it alone back home because I didn't have to worry about being hassled but here its different. Other writers will beat the shit out of you if they find your painting in there spots. Or if you have associated with anyone who might have a bad rep(I have associated with some of those characters, but they are actually good guys.. Just got into bad habits with what they do in the manner of graffiti.)

Wacken
I've been up watching Wacken videos for the last 3 hours and I really wanna go some day. But these select bands must be playing or else its not worth the trip to germany the 3 days of tenting and the possible outrageous pricey ticket. Or this would be an epic lineup non the less, its believability is slim but i'll take my chance.
-Killswitch engage
-All that remains
-Children of bodom
-Blind guardian
-Hammerfall
-As I Lay Dying
-Lamb of god
-Disturbed(I'm not much of a fan, but I can see them there and I can imagine they have hype live shows)
-Some old school band like guns and roses or Europe.. Id kill to see europe live. Despite them not being metal
-In Flames
-Nightwish
-Sonata Artcica
-Unearth(Not a favorite but its on my metal list)
-Parkway drive
This list seems pretty thesable because a vast amount of these bands played wacken last year. The only ones that i could see as a long shot are, parkway drive, unearth, disturbed, and blind guardian. I'm not sure if blind guardian even plays anymore.
But i'll wait tell I see this lineup come around. Then off to germany for a week! I think it will happen 2011.

Grand junction
Decided to start another screenplay since i'll have some spare time for the next couple days. I plan to get the first act done and read for the cold read. Adam owes me a reading damnit! But I got the idea on the weekend, how, I don't really remember. But its going to be a comedy with a relationship involved. But today I got a monster boost of writing energy after the sketch cold read and I wrote up the first 7 pages which are looking pretty swell.
But the schedule looks like i'm going to have to write up to page 25 by next monday in order to hit that cold read. So here is the sampler of the story.
-A young man reaches a midlife crises a little to early after he gets fired and his wife divorces him.. With no options left he goes to start over back in his hometown were he meets old enemies, old friends, and old lovers.
So far i'm closing in on the divorce, plan on the call back home to be the inciting incident. He wil deny, but he will then get fired and lose his house and destroy his car. then head back to good old Grand Junction.
Personally I felt it was difficult to write Challenging the Illusion because it is such a personal subject and not a lot of people understand it and I hated talking about it because of the follow up questions. But I think this comedy thing will be a whole different story. And plus I get to create a more believable story and the characters I formed for the woman aren't cardboard cut outs but normal and authentic sounding people. Except for the wife who will be a total whore/bitch.

Feature/weekend
I did a 10 page a day for the weekend. It went a whole lot smoother then i thought it would. 95 pages(I'll have to add a couple more later on but right now its done to me..) And I did a whole lote besides that script.
friday-Hung out with Elsa, watched Taxi Driver.
saturday-Wrote some script pages and start another short script about a guy in a monorail accident. After that I headed to north vancouver for an old friends thanksgiving thing. Met some of his family and discussed some odd stuff like suicide, nobel prize winners, and other stuff. After that I went for some drinking with the old friend and this guy who turned out to be a writer. We bought cheap beer, went to Crab park to meet these other writers, drank, and played this kick the can game. After that we decided to go to some club in gastown. While on the way we did a shitton of tags and it was kinda heaty and stupid but whatev we still alive and well. Once we got to the club the only person I really knew at all ditched and I was talking to some girl and I kept having to shout for people to hear me. Which frustrated me..plus I didn't have money for alcohol so blehh. Walked home at 2 a.m. Stayed up trolling the web tell 4..werd
Sunday-woke up, ate popsicles for breakfast, wrote some more pages. Went to burnaby to hang out with ethan and watch Zombieland. Later got a free dinner from him for a birthday present. Then went to patricias for some socializing. After that I went home and I went on this site called Omegle and well. Elsa said I'm a real charmer, so I wanted to see how other men charm woman. So I went on omegle posing as a 20 year old girl from wherever, each conversation is anonymous, but i created a fake email for my alias for those who i would like to further troll. It was actually quite entertaining creating a different story for myself. My alter ego A.K.A Jewel(got her name from the fishing ship that her father died on) I think i'm going to do this to create more stories and learn something about the male psychee, because I don't think I know how men think even though I am one. I blame this on the fact that I don't do a whole lot of woman picking uping. And well, I'd like to see how its done. From the female stand point. And well its fun to see how the conversation roll out.

Cody Tv
Someone had the genious idea that I create my own tv station. So i'm going to add that to my mental list of things to do in the next 20 years. Here is what my tv show list would look like.
starting with
6a.m-7a.m-Classic cartoon tv show reruns..
8a.m-8.30-Sports tv with panel of reporters who get paid shitty wages yet enjoy what they do.
8:30-10-A show similiar to MTVLIVE where people just talk about random shit, kind of like a radio show with all the reaccuring characters having some kind of subject to cover at some point in the show. It will include guest hosts ranging from famous to random people off the street. It will also focus on current events and shit like dat.
10-12--Reruns of the price is right starting form 1985.
12-3--A daytime movie(Every day..)
3-5--Sitcom reruns(From Simpsons to Senfeld and anything else we can get a hold of.)
5-6--Prime time tv, This will vary form day to day. I'd suggets original programming such as a game review show and Urban Night Golf. Possible other exceptions, pitch sessions would be held for this position.
6-7:30--More CODYTV live, im considering changing the name of the channel to something less self centered. Like RBTV(Rare Breed TV). This show would be like the one before but more news orientated with guest callers and some prime news and exciting funnyness.
7:30-8-Original Sketch comedy tv show.
8-10--Some original funny tv show's. Possibly one with cops who do funny stuff...
10-11-Canadian Funny tv reruns, ranging from trailer park boys, to house party, to corner gas.
11-2a.m--Late night movie, not a porno but rated for adults. Like..Watchmen.
2a.m-2:30-Pokemon reruns, starting with episode 1 and running through all the spin offs and seasons.(500 episodes of that show)
2:30-5--Reruns of shows that have been cancelled for ever, like firefly, drive, miami vice, columbus, anything else that is good and died before its time.
And well thats CODYTV for a weekday.

Urban Night Golf
For Documentary i have to write a treatment. I'm quite entertained by my subject and personally the story is amazingly flawless thus so far. Mostly because it is featuring real people who I konw who have real problems. And it has real locations, real situitions that could happen, and real consequences.
In short the documentary is about a group of urban golfers who set out to raise awareness of the sport Urban Night Golf. They go across western united states and canada and stop off at 7 or 8 key locations. I've managed to get up to Las vegas, we have denver, minneapolis and toronto to go. At this point in my story we have had a shitload of trouble, but we have gained publicity. In denver things go great, everything is awesome. Citizens actually enjoy seeing us, cops don't mind and we get to legally finish our hole off in the six flags course. But oh shit, minneapolis is hell for everyone. Things go wrong left and right. We end up loosing our funding for a month, and our driver gets sick from eating take out. But we manage to find a way to our climax, in toronto we propose the idea of a competition for the city. We get massive support from people all over, especially in the places we visited. One of the biggest stops was vegas, where we met former PGA golfers and introduced thme tot he sport and thye enjoyed it. In toronto we get rejected at first, but we give up those golfers a call, also make some more calls to a bunch of people mentioned through out. Then we plan our own public course, police are overwhelmed and allow it once they see over 300 golfers show up for the event. The event is a success, Urban golf is mentioned on ESPN. And The main characters go back home, to enjoy a brew and shoot some holes on there first course. The main chacaracter proposes doing it again, the world is filled with places to do it, and only canada has an established competition.
But anyways, it has an ensemble cast, all with believable archs. It also features a variety of different challenges, ranging from laziness, to financial issues, to criminal charges, to addiction, to vehicular malfunctions. All of which belate the 4 month road trip.
I'm not going to finish it right away, I plan to milk it tommorow in documentary and see the response of it.
